He is not old enough. He is not old enough to retire from public/civil service, so, he is not old enough for anything. He is a middle-aged man, not an old man

Well, 55 years old is early retirement for some pension and 62 years old for social security.

God has a way of doing his things. Nigeria might not be up there in terms of good health care system but Mercy of God still upholds this nation . Don't be surprise that casualty won't be much in Nigeria.

WHY DON'T WE COPY SOUTH KOREA THAT HAS CLEARLY HAD THE MOST SUCCESS IN DEALING WITH THIS VIRUS (WITHOUT LOCKDOWN) INSTEAD OF COPYING THE WEST THAT IS BEING DECIMATED BY THE VIRUS DUE TO INTERNAL POLITICS?

Where are our pastors ? This is the time they need to heal people

If you want to know whether their God is capable of healing Coronavirus, why don't you find one person who you can confirm has the disease, then you convince him/her to agree to be prayed for by any of those pastors you have in mind, and then whichever one God uses to heal the person (using the name of Jesus), you can know that one is a real man of God.

Cos the last time I checked, Jesus did not go about healing every sick human being on the earth when he was here physically, it was those sick people who came to him that were healed, with a few exceptions of those who needed healing and didn't come to him directly, but were met along his way going somewhere (eg. The man at the pool of Bethsaida that was paralysed for 38years and had nobody to help him).

If Jesus was thinking the way you are thinking, there would not have been a single sick person on earth as at the time Jesus was crucified because he would have just spoken one or two words and healed everybody from the comfort of his abode or from the comfort of Peter's house, and he won't need to have wasted the remaining 3 and half years of his ministry going about and healing the sick that came to him one by one.
This is why YOU NEED TO GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST GENUINELY AND START PRAYING AND STUDYING YOUR BIBLE EVERYDAY SO THAT YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH THAT WILL SET YOU FREE, AND YOU WILL NOT BE DECEIVED IN THESE LAST DAYS! If you knew the truth of God's word, you would not have made this kind of statement you made.

Coronavirus is quite like the flu. It is more potent on cold weathers unlike ours. Check the statistics in hot Australia at the moment.

They’re politicizing the death. Death from cancer or heart attack is also recorded as “possible Covid 19 death” according to CDC

The very same reason the blacks are hit harder by this virus in the US.

The blacks are not. What do you understand by disproportionate?Majority are whites, about 70% or so.

They just said out of the data from a portion of hospital patients, 46% from 70% were whites, 33% of 15% were blacks, 5% from 18% were Hispanics, hence the disproportionate, but you know how white media are, they just twist the truth.

I’m not sure I explained it properly so I attached a pic.

How many times shall we tell you guys that only people abroad and returnees from abroad are at risk of dying from the Coronavirus

This virus is not for Africa!

Had we been hit like US, UK, Italy and co, do you thin you will be alive to spew the trash you just did We would have all died by now... angry

Calm ur nerves.

USA: 587,000 cases, 23,000 deaths. Death rate is 3.9%.

Nigeria: 343 cases, 11 deaths. Death rate is 3.2%

U will see there's not much difference. But here's the twist. In the US the medical system have been overwhelmed because of too many already infected. Hospitals are getting crowded. In Nigeria isolation centers look like 5 star hotels as we don't have too many cases yet. In the us they are recruiting doctors allover the world to come and help them as there are shortages. In Nigeria some people are asking to reject the doctors sent from China. At the moment in Nigeria we can afford more than a doctor to a covid-19 patient, in the us at the moment it's 1 doctor to 3-5 patients (or more). I commend the good work our medical personnel have done, but we shouldn't let it get into our heads. We need to take responsibility and prevent the spread of the virus.

Nearly all the 11 deaths recorded so far are people who returned from abroad.

The most important step the government has taken is shutting the airports and boarders to all returnees from abroad.

Anyone in Africa is relatively safe from the deadly pangs of the virus at this time... cool

So you mean only 10 people have died in Nigeria since coronavirus started?

This is simple logic.
No cure yet for covid 19 infections.
Doctors are merely treating symptoms, managing and supporting the patients.
The real work here is done by the immune system.
If you have a strong immune system you'll survive it while the ppl with low immune system and the immunocompromised (due to underlying health conditions) will eventually die.
