Something is not adding up, Nigeria with her poor healthcare system is discharging patients with very minimal deaths but US with their plenty resources and high level health care is recording more deaths......... angry
US is equally discharging people. They only focused on the number of infected and the death.

The weather is playing a huge factor. Check all the countries with huge casualties, they are all experiencing an average of 10 degrees celcius unlike our hot weather here.

We are even lucky we're yet to enter the raining season fully, the results might have been different.

I have seen God heal. Yes, God is the One Who heals. No genuine pastor claims to be responsible for healing. All they do is pray.

I pray for you, IN JESUS GLORIOUS NAME: IF IT IS FUNNY TO BE SO SICK THAT PEOPLE CARRY YOU ALMOST LIFELESS FROM THE HOSPITAL IN SEARCH OF AN ANOINTED PASTOR, MAY GOD PERMIT IT.

Perfect explanation. Thanks

When I was small there was this lecture my elder cousin gave me.

It was about a neighboring town to ours. The town was by far bigger than ours. Talking of death rate, I told my cousin that people from the town die more than ours but she disagreed. She said let's assume they are 20,000 and we are 2,000. She said if after every week 10 people die from them and 5 die from us , who die more? As a kid I told her the other people die more and she said no, that we die more.

She explained that 10 of 20,000 is 0.05% while 5 of 2,000 is 0.25%. She told me that if that number of death is maintained every week the people from my town is wipe out before the other people, so you see in a population where the blacks contribute 13% they account for 34% of total death, there is danger light beaming at the other end.

Exactly. This is just like every other pneumonia like flu. It flourishes in extreme cold weather, and spreads easily in enclosed spaces. The only difference is the causative organism is new, and as yet without any known treatment.
Thank God for showing us mercy. The government has not done anything but the One who drives flies from the tailless fly, He has been faithful. Thank You, Jesus!

Yes, I do understand that, but it was a total of 580 patients in the hospital that they got those figures from. I’m sure they probably use records that had a disproportionate number of blacks hospitalized. If you understand American and White Supremacy politics, you will understand what I’m saying.

I think since mainly the elderly are vulnerable to this disease, Nigerian seniors are at home in the villages mostly, abroad the seniors are still a functional part of the society, so are more exposed, resulting a higher death rate, my 2 kobo.

It doesn’t always work that way. Over here, the Govt and Health bodies are quick to vaccinate or prescribe medications. While this sounds good, it always prevents the body to naturally fight or build anti-bodies in order to create immunity against viruses/diseases. The average European have several health issues/diseases that Africans never knew exist. This is why Africans have stronger immune system compared to Europeans or Africans in the diaspora.

In Nigeria/Africa the body builds natural anti-bodies to prevent diseases even without good health facilities.

As I type I can count 8 of 10 of my White pals who have one or more health issues while my Black/African friends rarely do.

WHY DON'T WE COPY SOUTH KOREA THAT HAS CLEARLY HAD THE MOST SUCCESS IN DEALING WITH THIS VIRUS (WITHOUT LOCKDOWN) INSTEAD OF COPYING THE WEST THAT IS BEING DECIMATED BY THE VIRUS DUE TO INTERNAL POLITICS?

We can't copy South Korea because the have more than enough testing kits that they are sending 600000 to USA

The nation is on lockdown yet we are hearing that this people who are dying here are people who just returned from abroad when or may I ask how?
Does it mean people are still moving around? God help us!.

The period of the virus manifestation is like 14 days. The border was closed like 3 weeks ago.

So all the carriers will show either sickness or death within this time frame.
By the end of this second 14 days lock down, Nigeria may become free of the virus except if we open our borders again without water tight monitoring, quarantine and screening.

Our saving grace was earlier closing of our borders to outside world. So it never spread much. Europe and America were playing with the issue. Before they locked down it has already spread within the populace

Tell us more.?
How do you think all these will end in Nigeria and USA?
Any cure in sight?
Can what worked for you work for all?

Well for Nigeria ,after the 2 weeks extension ends ,there will be a few cases here and there.Hopefully, thereafter all those with covid will voluntarily submit themselves for isolation / treatment. As for the US ,its at its peak already. It will slowly start dying down and the economy will bounce back.

Yeah ,what worked for me can work for anybody.

Your assertion is not right, you need to put out some parameters before you compare the two countries alike. Using the death ratio to number of confirmed cases in each country. Thank you.
