Don't blame him.
He is a sheeple of Pastors Chris and Dino, the leading experts on 5G technology in Nigeria.

The cellphone provider asks him to upgrade his current phone plan to a phone with 5G

That's how it works over there when you buy phones and sim on contract

He rejected the upgrade offer

Bros trying to make it look like he was offered a free phone and he rejected it

No big deal here

Lol, If this 5G eventually takes off, there won't be anywhere to hide. Thousands of mini satellites will be blasted off in order to adequately cover every region, effectively blanketing every inch of soil on this green earth. Na die we dey so o grin Or you fit dey wear hamzat suits around Sha. People don't even know the harm their phones & wireless devices cause. It's faster & better but at a cost. Ignorance is the bane of this generation.
The bold is not true.
There are villages where you can't get a network unless you climb a border mountain.
You would even be grateful if you can enjoy 2G.

Very soon all phones will carry 5G,if you like you can stuck in 4g 3g etc, that's your own problem. If you so much want, you can even run deep inside a forest away from civilisation.

Upgrade or be a backward reject

Don't mind their ignorance. Even though, he had issues with the phone because of 5g. He could have as well restricted the band usage to 4g or 2g. All phones come with bands options that is why i doubt the story.
