Mahn the kind of controversies around this 5G nonsense if you were the one you wouldn't take caution? Mind you he didn't reject it outrightly rather he said let them keep their phone first." He's right to have declined it because if I were him I would have done same!

Yeah, I'm an ignoramus. Unfortunately I do not waste time with those unable to read & think objectively but prefer to gorge on what the mainstream media tells them. Same reason most don't know the effects ordinary Telecom masts situated in their communities or even their wireless devices eventually have on their health. Do fill your house with the latest 5G devices when they come out.
can u plz tell me the difference between 5G and 4G. Networks??

ask ur bluethooth device... same way u shut down a stolen car and luck the four doors trapping the criminal..u wont understand .its above ur understanding better still u can call it black magic..I know u are in d north so these things look strange to u kpele

1. Bluetooth requires peripherals to answer calls, or you didn't read my post?

2. Bluetooth has a maximum range between 30 feet (for headphones) - 300 feet after which the signal fades and it becomes useless. Specialised versions have a maximum range of 1000 feet so unless his church is walking distance from his house there's no way any calls are being answered.

Bluetooth and 5G are not the same and the fact that you are conflating the two shows your ignorance of this topic.

3. In your mind Lagos State is the north abi? Continue to be claiming smart while displaying your foolishness.

The phone is not the problem its the 5g transmitters ...where you have phone or not they will blanket u

It's is rampant ignorance to even suggest 5G transmission is dangerous, unless one intends to set up camp within 1m of a 5G central mast.

For those who have leased sections of their living space to power transmission and Network companies are exposed to very dangerous magnetic forces far worse than 5G energy on one's phone

5G is no more dangerous than your remote control or your WiFi. It is deep illusion to think your small phone has capacity to transmit unusually dangerous levels of energy , if it were so you'll be able to power all the electronics in your house using this energy.

This 5G debate reminds me of the last American election won by Trump where FB WhatsApp were used to further false information. This is a corporate war ongoing between Huawei and it's American owned competitors.

You don't even know how milimetre wave transmitters are set up , 1 meter from main mast indeed...what main mast

Wow this basically has to be the highest case of been ignorance I have seen.its not like the phone can hurt you or anything just the transmitter and even I doubt that plus the device would surely have the option to switch to 4 or 3g or if your son card is lower

I'm neither siding him nor I'm I against him....

But let me ask a question guys, why is it that whenever a network is released; a dreadful virus is released as well....

And funny enough the animals still eating fresh veggies is said to cause or bring the viruses or what so ever....how about we that eats fertilized junks?? Fully exposed to radiations

Can you all link this

Check through past global pandemics, it has little or no effects on Africans, why?? Then we have no civilization and we are not exposed to the electromagnetic radiation of different wavelengths....

Trust me I'm a total lover of technology but deep down its causing extremely mad harsh havoc to you and to me beyond our expectations....

The cellphone provider asks him to upgrade his current phone plan to a phone with 5G

That's how it works over there when you buy phones and sim on contract

He rejected the upgrade offer

[s]Bros trying to make it look like he was offered a free phone and he rejected it [/s]

No big deal here

You're the only person here with sense.

But no he didn't say he doesn't want the phone. He said they can keep their 5G, most likely coz he finds the contract more expensive than his current contract.

Many nairalanders are simpletons.

I'm very curious what sheeples' reaction will be when their pastors start using 5G-enabled phones. Will the pastors say they "prayed and anointed the phone, and God rendered the 5G harmless"?

Lol, If this 5G eventually takes off, there won't be anywhere to hide. Thousands of mini satellites will be blasted off in order to adequately cover every region, effectively blanketing every inch of soil on this green earth. Na die we dey so o grin Or you fit dey wear hamzat suits around Sha. People don't even know the harm their phones & wireless devices cause. It's faster & better but at a cost. Ignorance is the bane of this generation.

To all those quoting me, kindly go and read about 5G hardware & it's mode of deployment. Also Read up intensively on Long term effects of EMF radiation on biological entities.
Read, una no go hear, na to react them sabi. They don't even know we can get the same speed with fiber optic cable 5G which is safer in all ramifications.

so u want to connect fibre optic to a mobile device *facepalm
