Hi, me too is just of recent that I have placed my order (6th of April 2020) in hope of getting it today or tomorrow, that is what I saw on my order page. Do note that my item is from jumia express not jumia global.

No one can tell you that, not even Xiaomi Nigeria but I will advise you wait for RN9s though I understand your predicament. Not to get the RN8 and you now wish you got the other instead.
