Hahaha, naso this our conversation don pain u reach sotay I don turn your archenemy?
For me you are still a Zoogerian brother grin. And I can't call u my archenemy.

And yes, I will not support Igbos to tell lies as much as I have a soft spot for them

So Redcrafton, Yorubas actually have much properties & investments in the North & Middlebelt and even in places like Kaduna & to an extent Jos, Yorubas can match Igbos in properties. In Niger state & Kebbi states, Yorubas should outnumber Igbos in presence and properties although through Suleja (Abuja), Igbos could now be matching Yorubas in Niger state.

As for the SS. I lived much of my life in Delta/Edo. Yes, Yorubas have properties in both states, especially Edo state, but it cannot be compared to that of Kaduna/Jos.

However, Igbos in general have 10 or 20x more properties than Yorubas in the entire North & SS combined. That's the reason why some people think Igbos can never seccede.
You might be right about Igbos secceding.

The Igbos have more at stake in Nigeria

My unaided estimates, for want of verifiable statistics, show that in Lagos, Igbo investment is not less than N300 trillion; it is double of that in Abuja at about N600 trillion. In Kano and Kaduna, Igbo investments run up to N10 trillion respectively; while in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa states, Igbo investment run into N5 trilion respectively. In Plateau State Igbo investment is hovering over N15 trillion! I can confidently add that there is no state in Nigerian where Igbo investments in business do not exceed N5 billion.....

Igbos-n45-trn-investments-north

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has cautioned the Igbo in South eastern Nigeria against maltreating northerners, warning that such could endanger the multi-billion Naira investment of the Igbo in the North.

ACF said the ongoing controversy in the East on issuance of identity cards to persons of northern extraction was uncalled for and estimated that the Igbos’ investments in Kaduna, Kano, and Jos alone amounted to about N45 trillion.

The Deputy Secretary-General of ACF, Abubakar Umar said this while addressing members of the South-South/South-East Arewa Coalition, who paid a courtesy call on ACF on Thursday.

According to him, statistics available to them indicated that the Igbos’ investments in Kaduna, Kano, and Jos alone amounted to N45 trillion and with such huge investments in just three States of the north, the Easterners have no reason to maltreat northerners doing businesses in the East, stressing that, “If the table turns, it could be disastrous to their investments.

Yorubas were the ones who insulted me first on this thread and I have proven it.

So I have no business with Yorubas.

I wouldn't have joined this thread if not that you Yorubas & Hausa fulanis were telling blatant lies which affects my people.

Open any thread and tell a lie which affects me and I would be there, only that I may not be having all time always.
Before this thread I've seen some of your anti Yoruba posts on this forum so all you've done here is no surprise to me. The only suprise I've had so far reading your posts is when you said many of your people share same view with you about my tribe. That statement alone is an eye opener to me, cos I can't believe that my tribe is not in the good book of a group of people I'm always hoping and praying that someday God would liberate them from the snare of fowler of the barbaric fulani herdmen killing them in their ancestral land. Not saying this for your aproval or whatever but I once shed tears for your people when I saw gory pics of their corps, how can such group of people now be hating on my people when there had never been any known conflict between us.I only hope that what we get to read about our respective tribes won't turn us to heartless human beings, what we write on here have consequences that go beyond internet.
About the secession group you said you are planing to float by next year I realy hope you stick by your words so that some of us who read your posts would know that you are not an empty vessel, because honestly this is what I think you are, do not also forget the crops you planed exporting to Europe or America. When you begin these please remember to update us on Nairaland. Thanks!

Even I thought it would be possible in the past, but hell no! Unless this madhouse is divided, we will continue to step on each other's toes!

Just that let us try to be as civilized about it to the best possible way we can, cos none of us have anything to gain by destroying each other.

Ibadan more cosmopolitan than Jos/Kaduna is a lie from the pit of hell.
Even during the regional govt days, Ibadan would not beat Jos/Kaduna in terms of cosmopolitanism.

In Jos & Kaduna, before crisis divided the cities along religious lines you have Igbo dominated areas, Hausa dominated areas, Indigenous dominated areas even Igala/Idomas areas & Urhobo areas and everyone lived in peace.

The Northern region was more cosmopolitan than the Western region and Kaduna was the capital of the old Northern region, so tell me how Ibadan could beat that?

Jos started attracting settlers from all over Nigeria from 1900 when the British needed more and more Tin mining workers.
Yorubas came, Igbos came, Hausa fulanis came and Bendelites came.
Read this link about the Ogbomosho people in Jos by a Yoruba man and see that they arrived in Jos more than 100 years ago.

https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/11/19/the-ogbomoso-people-in-jos/amp/

Urhobo community in Jos is so powerful that u can imagine that the only 2 Urhobo people and Nigerdeltan minorities who have won the Big brother Africa challenge were both born & bred in Jos!
Karen Igho's dowry was even paid in Jos. I wonder if that woman and her family even know the road to their village in Delta state grin

Do u know how many Lebanese, Ethiopians, Indians & Whites call Jos their homecity?

D'banj's pretty wife is of SouthAfrican/American heritage but the only city she has ever known or call her hometown is Jos and she is a cousin to this MTVbase co-host below Samantha Walsh. Their entire extended family claim Jos as their hometown.

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcSS9Ff38BLAqccVowB-66lKsEqcG4912jVDu_jC9BGRko-1wJXw&usqp=CAU

Ibadan will never beat Jos in cosmopolitanism in this life nor in the life to come.
The weather and exotic fruits & vegetables in Jos alone is enough to make Jos 50% foreigners by population (all we need to do is promote it).

And 2ndly, what do you mean some part of SW formed Abuja? grin. Are you talking about Abaji LGA that was part of old West-Central (Kwara state)?

You see, due to the COWARDICE of you Yorubas, you have never gotten the balls to claim Kwara state and only God knows if u will ever get them.

Neither Kwara or old West-Central state was ever part of the SW.

Infact, West central state at the time of creation was not even dominantly Yoruba, and I have had this debate here with a Yoruba guy and thrashed him till he ran away.
West central state was middlebelt dominated and Yorubas were a minority in that state.
That state was made up of the whole Kwara & Kogi combined + Abaji (FCT) and Borgu (Niger state) combined.

Even when Igalas, Borgus & Abajis left the state and it became Kwara and Yoruba dominated, minorities were still dominating the Yorubas there! E.g the Ebiras who produced the first elected governor of the new state.

Kwara/Kogi Yorubas have always been bitches to the Caliphate & Kwararafan descendants and only God knows when that will end cry

Cc Covidodo, Legendhero, Iamgrey5
Bro stop giving me silly mentions while making silly claims that cannot be substantiated with any evidence.

We have dealt with this your notion of Platuea economy alleged vibrancy several pages back.

Jos does not have any industrial complex, it was a mining town until the mining industry in Nigeria collapsed after crude oil was discovered in the south/south region of Nigeria.

And I have seen how you are desperately trying to look for "proofs" online to support your fictional claims on the internet to the extent that you are using the opinion of D Banj's wife as hard facts to support your arguments in the field of economics.

I thought our argument was in the field of economics, so economical data released by reputable institutions should be provided to support your notion that Plateau state is more industrialized and developed than Oyo, Ogun state like you claimed not the opinion of the wife of musician.

What you are doing now is equivalent to an after thought to safe face after you have made ridiculous claims that you cannot substantiate.

Of course when the whites came to the West , it made sense that they would land in Lagos because of the coast grin cheesy

See talk ..
Who's Tinubu ??

This is the issue I always have with people like you .

Is Gowon not a greater one Nigerianist than Tinubu ??
And Gowon is not even a politician .

Tinubu like any other politician from the North, East , South is self serving and would never want to let go of the power one Nigeria has given them.

Where are people like Mark , Ekweremadu , GEJ and TY Danjuma in this picture . Aren't they all self serving one Nigerianists.

But Tinubu is y'all problem ..Gosh

The same Tinubu that struggled to win Ogun and , Osun and Lagos in the last elections .

PDP rules Oyo. Ondo and Ekiti are not Tinubu's friends .
But hey agenda must agend cheesy

Death to One Nigeria !!!
TY Danjuma's language has changed over the years! He's no longer an apologetic one Nigerianist. Haven't u see his comments recently?
Yakubu Gowon is the only idiiot my people have and we will publicly disown him latest by next year. Such a shameless old man.

Although nor be he fault. 1) He grew up in Zaria (Hausa land). 2) He is just too proud to admit that his one Nigeria legacy which he lived all his life for is now a failure.

My prayer is that God keeps him alive for the next 5 years to see what his one Nigeria will become. Someone like him deserves an agonizing death in regrets.

People like TY have realized their mistakes and taken a U-turn, but not Gowon.

Which Ekweremadu are u talking of? Same one that Igbo youths almost lynched abroad?

Igbos have clearly shown that they are not in support of their one-Nigerianist leaders.

You people on the other hand still worship and idolize Tinubu.

Make una pray welwell make Buhari give Tinubu person presidency by 2023, if not we go take laugh make una deactivate una accounts for nairaland oo.
U people would be the laughing stock of the world. grin

Jos is not his birth place, he was born in Eritrea. He is just an investor in Jos, just like Dangote, P&G, Larfarge, Nestlé etc are investors in Yoruba land.

All these companies have operation centres all over in Yoruba land and their market valuation in the Nigerian stock exchange is in the trillions.

P&G operates from ibadan and Ogun

Larfarge from Ogun state and Lagos

Dangote sugar, flour from Ogun.

The Op is using threads like this to console himself because he knows his region has no wealth and at the mercy of two regions and will never be great like Yorubaland. It must be really hard on him to know that Yorubaland makes and breaks him and all his aspirations and the day Yoruba say enough is the day he dies!

Finally, the only reason we will continue to see this type of topics is that Yoruba are not protecting their land as it should.

Yorubaland built all the regions of Nigeria except the SS which is also a viable region, the remaining 4 regions are a drag always in need of assistance from the Yorubaland and the Niger delta. These 4 region would have been like states in Somalia if we still have regional govts where they have no access to all the money in Yorubaland.

Keep saying what you want right now, when Yoruba get it right, you will be the first to know!
our too liberal politicians and elites are the problem, am sorry to say this perhaps allowing dangote to build his refinery in Lagos may even hurt us more in future, even though some of our yoruba elites have strong stakes in it. We need to redefine our agenda as a yoruba nation, igbos hardly give their lands to strangers reason you cannot find so many huge investments from outsiders there. As we keep on attracting these investments, we need to on the other hand redefine the rules of engagement. Yes we are doing a lot for ourselves but this too much liberality is making them think we are fools and exposing us to unnecessary threats from enemies within. The multinational and foreign investments makes more sense than all these land grabbers who call themselves investors and still want to rule over us. We need to rethink.

Where did you see region in my post?

Yoruba is the name of our land before new names like Lagos protectorate, a name given to Yorubaland by the colonists.

Aworis are Yoruba and from Lagos/Ogun just as Ijebu and others. The Yoruba Oranmiyan descendants are the only people that came from Bini and they are Yoruba who spoke Yoruba language, they have nothing to do with the modern day people called Edo.

I come from Osun or Ilorin but it's a family affair, go and claim states in your region too, that's why fingers have sizes to work together as one family.

See what Yoruba matter has done to your life, you don't know that Abuja is in a different region from Borno and that Abuja belongs to Gwaris and Borno Kanuris.

If you are intelligent, now that people are getting more xenophobic is the time to go and get your region ready and lay off of Yoruba, there won't even be world food program to feed you when it happens!

You are a complete foreigner as we don't even share borders . If not for Nigeria, we would probably not have known each other .

Lagos has been a Yoruba city since the time immemorial and it would remain so till the end of time .

Your cries or lamentation on Nairaland would not change this fact .

At this rate , you'd just rupture an aneurysm . Nah so una covet Lagos reach grin cheesy
Covet Ibadan and Abeokuta as I will not cover PH. As you from Abeokuta buys land in Lagos so shall I from Asaba/Enugu buy land in Lagos and I have already.

The same writer said the investment in Kano and Kaduna, Igbo investments run up to N10 trillion respectively and in Plateau State Igbo investment is hovering over N15 trillion! Which is N45 trillion.

ACF said the investment in the 3 states is N45 trillion.

It shows the writer may not be too far from the correct figure.
Na wao. grin grin grin. I guess, the writer, must be the gov of CBN or a Statistician?
