It’s sad to see Nigerians making a Joke out of Abba Kyari’s death. He was such a Visionary leader who changed the Life of the average Nigerian since his re-election, transformed our health sector and laid down his life for the greater good. RIP Sir, your memory lives on.

So a Muslim died 2 weeks ago and was preserved just to break the news in the middle of the night so that Nigerians will not cry abi?

The both of you are just so damn naive. You have no idea about the complexity of a sudden power vacuum especially in a country such as Nigeria.

You guys should remember that Yaradua too was a Muslim. But his death was not announced until after some days, if not even weeks.

Yaradua was on life support for a long time In Saudi. He was declared clinically dead immediately he was taken off life support.
Even Abacha was buried immediately.
Muslims don’t waste time when it comes to burying their dead.
Kemi was just being speculative as usual and it was a no-brainer that the possibilities of him surviving is low because of his age.

Are you aware a person can be declared technically dead? I.e lapse into a coma and suffered irreparable brain or organ damage But still be breathing with the aid of ventilators?

Think! Man, think!! Before you type.

CDC Doesn't release dead bodies of CORONAVIRUS to anyone for burial.

The Lagos state commissioner for health once highlighted the dead to include a high profile death in a private isolation.

Finally, it cannot be hidden forever

Yar'adua was brain dead and vegetative for a long time. That was why they flew him out, but was brought home upon being clinically dead.
Shut up! As if you were part of the team that saw him brain dead. Fool

How about Yar Adua? This is power play. Religious right does not count.
stop saying what you don't know, Yar'Adua was announced dead on same day he died, no one can keep his dead body anywhere, if his family or any member of his government tried that, fanatical Muslims will declare jihad on them like Boko Haram, forget your beer parlor conspiracy theories, those who are in the know when it happened that you are not privileged to know acknowledged it.

Yaradua died on 5th may and was buried on 6th May 2009.

He certianly was very sick in the last few months before his death, but not dead until he died.

Anything is possible in Nigeria. Covid 19 corpse is highly infectious. It cannot be buried the normal conventional Muslim way.

One can't be so sure since the person that died then was not revealed. I can't imagine why the corpse would be kept for so long

You got it wrong.
Yar'adua was brain dead and vegetative for a long time. That was why they flew him out, but was brought home upon being clinically dead.

Lemme educate you.

Covid can cause brain death. When the brain dies, in normal cases if nature is allowed to take its course, other body organs syop functioning hours later coz of lack of hormones from the brain. So within hours, a brain dead can become clinically dead.

When a person is clinically dead, it means all body processes for BREATHING have been terminated. No heartbeat, no blood flow, no lung contraction.

However, a person's BREATHING AND BLOOD FLOW can be maintained even after being brain dead beyond hope with the help of life support aka ventilator FOR UP TO 2 WEEKS. Reasons could range from organ donation to the family not ready to say goodbye yet.
The person is surely dead. Take off the ventilator and the heart stops beating, the lungs collapse, blood flow stops. Hell even with the ventilator the person CANNOT keep his body warm coz of lack of brain function so the room temp is kept high and the person is kept under thick blankets.

Put all these factors together. I hope you can conclude on a clearer picture and learned something new

Are you suggesting that his death was being suppressed for 15 days ? Where could they probably have been keeping his corpse.

Covid-19 has a very high fatality rate for older folks >65 years old. So the odds of an almost 80 year old Kyari surviving after testing positive was very low from the start. For all we care, this was very easy guess work from madam kemi.
oga Na lie, we have seen older people than kyari survived it. You a typical Nigerian employing all available tactics in the whole wide world without having a clear understanding and speciality on any of them.

Can you just read over your comments again and relate it to common reasoning!
