It was well cleared afterwards

Here is a message they sent after it was reported

The PPE has been removed. The red bag is the in properly disposed PPEs, was decontaminated by our public Health and disposed off professionally. I am intouch with Dr. Kawu Director of Public Health and we have began the process rounding up all those that participated in the burial for possible isolation. Pls lets encourage people to remain calm. A breach has happened but we are on top of it.

You are on top of what?

THIS IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE FROM NIGERIA LEADERS.
1- First they broke lockdown rules by flying him from Abuja to Lagos.
2- Then they treated him privately at First Cardiology in Ikoyi despite isolating other positive members of the public in the isolation centre.
3- Then they flew his COVID 19 positive body back to the Federal Capital Territory for burial.
4- Then they released his body for burial contrary to what Lai Mohammed said that COVID 19 dead bodies cannot be released for burial.
5- Then almost 500 – 1000 people gathered for the burial effectively breaking Federal Government rule that not more than 20 or even 50people can gather at a point in time.
6- Then, they dug a shallow grave for the body in the centre of town, Gudu cemetery.
7- And some there neither wore masks or any other PPE especially the gravediggers.
8- A man in Green native without PPE even touched the body whilst helping the workers in PPE.
9- Some workers in PPE were even seen touching their faces and goggles after touching the body with some’s clothes visibly running the dead body under from their PPE as they lowered the body into the shallow grave.
10- And the body was buried in just white traditional robes. No protection nothing for the people, or the environment.
11- No accounting for or planning that everyone at the burial must self isolate for 14 days after the burial.
How is this leading by example? How does a government make the rules and then shamelessly break the rules on National Television for all to see.
Abuja should brace for impact in the next 14days.
Pls somebody should show me where I can do change of country.

Nothing to add.

After listening to the recorder of this video and some comments on here, I can see why God has exalted Hausas above every other tribe in Nigeria. And they'll continue to rule us if we don't change our ways

Nigerians complain of discrimination abroad. How the whites and Chinese are racist and South Africans are xenophobic. But guess what, we are the worst. Even among our own fellow Nigerians, we discriminate in the worst way.
They way igbos and yorubas are so tribalistic towards Hausas is worse than any N-word ever used against a black man in America or any stunt pulled by the KKK back in the day or worse any police brutality against blacks. The name calling and animal labelling is cringe-worthy. Why?

We need to change and start making the change immediately. A generation no doubt passed this onto us, we can't afford to pass it on to the coming generations.

Please, respect every human being regardless of tribe.
I still maintain that Hausas are ruling is in Nigeria because God always has a way of standing up for the oppressed.

God bless Nigeria.
[/s]

Between Hausa and other tribes, who has been oppressing who? Stop the Blasphemy!

God's hand cannot be in this contraption joined by useless Lugard.

The fact remains that Hausa are more tribalistic and religious bigot than other Nigerians. Even this present Govt has been oppressing a particular tribe, so if they react back, u call it oppression of Hausa?

Speak d truth and shame d Devil. IBB and Abacha dealt with Yorubas. Tell me how the ppl that have power for over 40yrs are the oppressed?

This is one of the inner caucus people.

They wouldn't want information to go out.
So they would prefer to use some people within their folks that knows nothing about the dangers of COVID

Thereby endangering more lives?

May God save us from some people's greed and stupidity.

Common sense is it common. Why not tell all the guys with the PPE to hold on and stay in a segregated area within the cemetery. Use the disinfectant to spray them before and after the pull off their PPE and dump in same position then burn and disinfect the vicinity.

If them call abok.i nau them go say you dey insult them. What kind of fooli.sh and careless behaviour is this.

We're not supposed to be living with all this northern people in the same country. Let this country be divided. In to four geographical zones.

Make them no just divide am into geopolitical zones oo. Because we in North central especially kogi, Kwara and Benue will be at a great disadvantage.

When I saw how they were grabbing d body, I knew these ppl were not from NCDC. No precautions at all. They obviously got some Muslims gave them the wear to deceive Nigerians. Muslims will never allow non Muslim or govt official to bury a Muslim. This idiot just exposed their hatchet job.

See as he removed the dress exposing these scavengers to the virus. One mechanic will pick this one and think he has gotten cover all, not knowing he has welcomed Covid 19.

Gosh! This country tire me

It's foolishness of the highest order, though the late kyari's body and the coffin were highly fumigated, the people that buried him were selected and they wore the protective suit at the burial ground, so I don't think the virus can be transmitted via corpse or the coffin. For safety measures that man shouldn't have dumped that suit there, it meant to be burnt. Eventually if he was found, he just got himself a free quarantine.

Dear nairalanders,

I want you to know that all you will be seeing from now till maybe next three days will all centre on Abba kyari. Just prepare for it.

A little deviation from Corona news is welcome.
But remember that just like COZA, BBNaija, this too shall pass.
