Someone said what if the business catches fire like what happened in Onitsha. Have u forgetten anything you do in this life is about risk, have you think of what if he finally become the pilot snd God forbid his enemy got involved in a plane crash? Someone also said he did both Biz and Msc, his Biz crumble and no job after securing Msc and no money left with him... Imagine no job and you all are saying the OP shld go for the pilot course as if the job is certainly waiting for him. Las Las he is in the best position to advise himself but as for me ooo I will choose Business 2 Likes |

I would av advice you do business but the atmosphere is very toxic here in Nigeria except you have a business line you have been or have good knowledge of before now, It will take you some times to make head way if you av never been into one before now but you can still try business if you have passion and seal cus the beginning will be tough but you will gain it later with dedication and commitments. Secondly, you can go to good country where you can work and study, gather more money n you may come back to start business then. I will prefer second for you |

My Brother. Let me tell u the truth. There are people with PhD who today haven't secured a job and there are pilots whom today haven't secured a job too. Same applies to businesses too. Some have invested or started business and just few months or years, the business is no more. All is about risk, be it education or business. If its not your thing and Gods favour is not upon it, nothing will come out of it. My advice is for you to run both. Its a trial and error thing. Start Your M.Sc in your preferred course having the right reason (hope of venturing into lecturing or working with an organisation when done) an after your course work which is always the first year of the M.sc programme, you will have the time to start a business which you have passion/skills for. At least before u conclude ur masters, u must have put things in order in the business knowing the fact that u are killing two beds with a stone (ie Business and M.Sc same time). 1.5 million is enough for ur Masters and u can give a shot in the business with 2.5 depending on the kind u want. If the business is profiting and moving smoothly as planned , u can invest more money in the business and probably further ur education to PhD level if need be. 2.2 is the minimum requirements for M.Sc in every institution in Nigeria ( I am.hundred and one percent sure). There is no need for PGD unless u want to swap to a different course in ur masters that's when PGD is necessary. Everything that has to do with future is all about risk (marriage inclusive). It's just Gods favour and effort u put that moves people to a higher level. Their are many that travelled abroad for greener pastures but are home less and doing nothing outside dis country and there are some that are doing very well too outside this country. All na God. Just give the M.sc and Business with half the amount u have and keep watch to know if u will invest in the one that is paying or will change mind to another with the remaining half when the initial doesn't work out. Please avoid bet9ja (money dubbling/evil gambling and drugs). I think that's all I can contribute. All the best Brother. 3 Likes |

Imoh555:Commercial pilot license. NCAT Kaduna is around 7-8m. If u decide to go abroad, depending on how intelligent u are, u could achieve it with that 8m though. Mrtaye:It depends on how intelligent the op is though, and where he chooses to train. |

Nowadays, 8million is not such a huge amount of money anylonger, you may not be able to complet a piliot course succesfully with that amount of money. investing in a busines is the best alternative for you right now but make sure you do nt invest all ur money in the busines so that if peradventure the busines fails, u have something to fallback on. Goodluck! |
