Cr7 is great whenever his team works for him,mostly those hardworking guys are always less appreciated.
In Madrid,Benzema worked so hard for him after Marcelo,Ozil and Di Maria,,yet he receives insults rather.
Now in June,they have started doing same through Douglas Costa,dybala,cuadrado and Bernadeschi but those guys are always less appreciated.They always win pks for him to score even but in Barca sometimes If a teammate wins Ok,Messi leaves it .

The figures won't be equal because of barca's pattern of play,half of Messi's goals are from one-two passes he do start and finish but those players will be registered for assist,secondly he has spent more years with his teammates more than Cr7 with any of his teammates.

Just as someone mentioned earlier, Ronaldo has more drive and is able to create something out of nothing unexpectedly. He is a goal poacher, and he does that really well, but that makes him very selfish in a way. Most of those features you mentioned up there seem to be in favour of Ronaldo because they're naturally related to his position.

Messi on the other hand is more of a team player, and what he does on the pitch, he does it AMAZINGLY well. He creates more chances for his team mates than he scores. He makes the game too easy.

Watch football first and leave collective titles. We are comparing abilities and not collective honours. Nobody is taken anything away from CR7. He is quite a phenomenon. But comparing him with Messi, then Messi towers head and shoulders above him unless you are looking at collective and not individual abilities.

That's y I said there's no guarantee that a fantastic player will do well in another team..alot of factors come in place... Messi might join man city and flop but could then b transferred to inter and will perform... But the reason y Ronaldo is something else is that he performs wherever he goes.. even if u say he goes to top clubs that y he performs... don't forget that Portugal was never among European elite buy he turned that team around... something Messi has failed to do with Argentina...
