i believe there are instructors there and GUN SAFETY is the first thing they will teach them besides the instructors would never let them handle guns like that if it was loaded, there are always strict regulations concerning operating a shooting range in the US, unlike here in Nigeria that things are done anyhow.

Furthermore, there is nothing "irresponsible" about being a law-abiding gun owner, in America, and even in Nigeria, for the sake of argument.

Note also, that if ANY of the good Senator's family members had EVER been convicted of a felony, they would never DARE post pictures of themselves holding ordnance ranging from a semi-auto handgun, to a pump-action shotgun, to a mean-looking AR15 assault rifle, to the quintessential "street sweeper" AK 47 for good measure. These pictures are in essence a declaration of lawful conduct , AND a demonstration of allegiance by the Murray Bruce clan, to one of the most cherished traditions that define American life, namely the right to pack serious heat, in full compliance with the laws of the land.

Our man Ben Murray Bruce was educated in Southern California, where ALL of the pictured weapons are legal for civilian ownership, so he is merely exercising his Second Amendment rights to bear arms, and also, to deploy them in self defense of himself and his loved ones, with full legal protection, should the need arise at any point in time.

Despite the family gun pictures having been taken in the USA, it is not a coincidence that Mr. Murray Bruce felt the desire to share the photographs "for all the honest world to see", if I may borrow the lyrics to an old country song by Willie Nelson.

The "current crisis" to which you refer will of course be the Corona virus lock-up situation prevailing over most the world right now, but, rather than view gun pictures as being more suitable for publication AFTER the crisis and contagion have subsided, as you suggest, my respectfully opposing view would be that showing one's capability to wield deadly force with precision, is a wise, preemptive move, intended to educate criminals that Ben Murray Bruce's homes, whether in the USA or in Nigeria, are very likely to be defended with a withering barrage of gunfire, and would therefore best be avoided from the standpoint of primal self preservation. The simplicity and sincerity of the message conveyed by the above family pictures, is refreshing and most welcome.

Oga Sammy J, my prescription is you procure a modest collection of firearms, all duly licensed, so that in the fullness of time, we can check out your own family gun portrait. Remember this proverb from my collection "The family that shoots together, stays together".
