I still don't know how true this is, but there are only 3 names on that letter and 5 people were in that video.

However, if I'm to speak the way I feel i.e viscerally, I would say these ladies have done nothing wrong. In fact their dressing wasn't too extreme.

But to be cerebral, rules are rules! Don't break the rules hoping that sympathy will speak for you.

Doing this in Egypt is a very big reasonable offence

In my view...they could have done whatever they wanted to without featuring any of the NIS attire not to talk of it's complete uniform. They obviously violated some rules which may lead to their dismissal from the service.
If there is no disciplinary measure against this recklessness, I can be sure that freaky young ladies from other respected forces and paramilitaries will start a challenge. Stupid things easily trend here. Na NYSC e tey dey start.

Their uniform is not a god. It represents something and when they signed on to work there, they agreed to respect their paraphernalia of office. Just like a policeman who takes his uniform or gun to an armed-robbery would be dismissed and prosecuted, so also you can't use your company letter-head to defraud people. They could have participated in the challenge but get clearance from their superiors or better still not wear the uniform. No one would care I am sure.

What the NIS is doing is also interviewing their defaulting staff, albeit in writing. They are not sacked yet, okay. But they need to defend their actions. Simple.

I think where she went wrong is mixing the uniform and personal display together. That is not a need for letter of query. Just verbal reprimand is enough to let her know it is not acceptable. What they are trying to do is limit her career now. Next thing you know she will be sidestepped for promotion.

Its uniquely stewpid of the Immigration Head to authorize such a query. The girl is creative, no need to kill the creativity. It should be encouraged but give her guidelines.
