Call of duty and pubg are similar so you just have to choose one, and none of them can be played offline.
Download modern combat 3 or 4 if you need an offline game.

my friends infinix hot 8 don't want to update but he updated it prevously before the current update popped up after downloading it and tried updating, on the process of updating its stopped and showed failed to update since then the phone don't even want to download the update talk more of updating
What should he do ?

Prices of phones have gone up since the lockdown. You'll need to up your budget or be patient till phones like Redmi 8 have price drop. Keep checking jumia

Call of Duty mobile and Player's Unknown Battleground (PUBG) are both fully online and free to play.

It depends on what you want or like. If you're a team death match kinda guy, go for CoDM.

If you're a battleroyale dude, go for PUBG.

It'll be hard to find new titles offline. They're all online.

Redmi said they will be focusing on 5G for the Chinese market. That is why Redmi Note 9s/Pro/Pro Max wasn't released in China
