Yes, lecturers are free to do extra jobs to augment their salaries. But there is no where in the world where you get more than one salary from the same govt. If you spend overtime or entitle to additional allowances, forward it to the govt, it will be paid either separately or along with salary.

What exactly are they hiding? I think it should be obvious to all reasonable Nigerians that ASUU is simply fighting to cover up the corruption that is now entrenched in our ivory towers. Most ASUU members are illegally receiving salaries in more than one federal institution and they are hellbent on maintaining the corrupt status quo.

Sadly, Buhari is just too lenient with these guys. This is the time for the president to take a strong action against the union.
