lockdown extended only slow the spreads of the virus, if vaccine have not be put in place, 50% population is still at risk even thou 3year lockdown. but in a situation like this when oil price fall to less than $12 per barrel, and air and land border closed, with covid - 19 pandermic. nigeria have serious problem in which long lockdown can not solve 10% of the problem. there should be measure put in place for people. people should go out for work with preventive method, why weekend days friday - sunday should be on lockdown, and an hour church service with 20 on seat should be allowed only on sunday, and mosque service with 20 in mosque with face mask should be allowed. school should open, wearing face mask and hand glove should be compulsory and school sport and game activities shoud stop. any person feel unwell or show symptom of covid-19 should stay at home, if several go hospital or go for ncdc covid-19 test. and ncdc center for test put in many place in market,roadside etc. the people will complain less.

2. The poor.

The the global irony and the African outlook......

The rich is afraid of the virus.

The poor is afraid of hunger.

The rich wants the poor to stay home to avoid the spread, but hunger won't allow the poor to stay home.

The poor fears that if they stay home, the hunger virus will kill them.

The rich fears that if they also come out of their homes the coronavirus will kill them.......

What a delicate situation we have .........

Opinion:
In other to restore the world or Nigeria to it's normal social equilibrium.

The rich should assist the poor with food, so that they can stay at home.

When the rich succeeds in keeping the poor at home by providing enough food.

The spread of the coronavirus which the rich fears the most will be chased out!

This is common sense.....Yet because some people have the microphones, all you hear is ...... “stay at home”.......... “stay at home” .

How can they stay at home when the hunger virus is at home.

That's the truth, even in China where the disease broke out since December, they are still living with it.

Indefinite Lockdown is not the solution, with all the lockdown in USA, what s the result, I am sure if Trump has not ordered lockdown, people would have said, the high death is because their is no lockdown.

Face mask is no 100% gurantee against corona. Which lockdown in America? Did you not see them come out in their hundreds protesting against the lockdown and going against the social distancing directives? Americans can be crazy and carefree.

Stop threatening him. He said the truth. Disease, starvation and conflict are peers, none is superior to the other. What we have is a catch-22 situation: the disease is here with us, continuing the lockdown as a way of curtailing the disease is choosing hunger and invariably conflict. This is counterproductive because then, all three will afflict us. But if we open up the economy and lift the lockdown, we would have put hunger and conflict at bay, which puts us in good stead to tackling the disease. There are alternatives to lockdown - you can still ban parties, religious gatherings, concerts and large assemblages, you can disinfect public places, enforce use of face masks and sanitizer, etc.
