The death rate is fu***ing high kilode...as it is im not sure people are been given the best and adequate care they needed. Dnt even say they are vulnerable or have underlying health issues, if someone like seyi makinde (51) and el rufia can survive it ( dat im sure they wld v one or two health issues) then they is something wrong..are the common man been given oxygen and ventillators to aid their breathing Or is the few inadequate ventilators been reserved for our corrupt politicians and high class? Does the common man has the same opportunity as our leaders? Are they given equal or best treatment or are they just left to their fate? C'mon we see the ways the european nurses and doctors are treating and giving their all best to each and evryone of their patient...can we say the same to my BELOVED COUNTRY? Our healthcare system is yet overwhelmed and we are recording this much death...if its overwhelmed nko, that means we wld be recording like 5k death per day! This is not just so FREAKING RIGHT ASWEAR! |

Akanoaaa: The Minister of Health yesterday said Kano has been given enough test kits, but there is another problem. Some people who work at the test center contracted COVID19 and they needed to decontaminate the place. 2 Likes |

AIT1:I think the number of cases is a thousand times more than this, their are no kits to test people, the death toll is also way more than what is been written. The hospital I work in is the base of isolation in FCT, infected ones are dying, and it's not reflecting on NCDC statistics. China has already set presidence for reporting fake death toll, other countries are just following suit 2 Likes |

I don't see the figure coming down with the nature of our testing capacity, the govt is not trying at all at least for like 28days now they should conduct test for over 20,000 people. The govt is just playing us so as to use the medium to siphon money. May God save us from the mess |

AIT1:you are very correct but mind you Atiku's son did not infect Bauchi Governor, he was lying. He travelled outside the country he did not disclose it. How will Atiku's son leave all his household coupled with hundreds of people he met and infect someone that just shook hands with him on a plane. Guy be wise |

It is regrettable that covid 19 is increasing on daily basis in Nigeria, instead of decreasing. The question that comes to mind is, why increasing instead of decreasing?. The answer is that Nigeria has more carrier of covid 19 cases than is tested. Based on ncdc, about 4000 Nigerians are being tested daily. Now, with this rate, when can we achieve testing of Nigerians with a population of about 200million people. For Nigeria to achieve this, there's the need to take this to local government areas. At least one general hospital should be equipped to handle covid 19 issue, This will definitely go a long way in reducing the spreed of this pandemic. Another important thing to look at is the treatment being metted on covid 19 patients. Recall that the Anambra index case complained about how he was dumped in one of the hospitals, no food and no treatment. Any case that hears about this, will prefer to even die in his house than to come and suffer in a government hospital. With the assistance from international communities, we can achieve a better health care in this country, Nigeria. |

landmark86: Everybody and sector is a problem in this country. Agreed the government failed in shutting down international movement earlier enough but today, order has been given that movement should be put on total lockdown interstate wise, but the citizens have refused to adhere by staying one place. They keep moving from one place to the other. Secondly, the security operatives who should enforce the order has seen a big business opportunity thereby indulging in collecting bribe and allowing movements to take place. These people then carry this virus from one state to the other. My point is, government is not only the problem in this case. |

Yet some Moro**n are still saying it is scam that FG is using this opportunity to loot while FG is loosing billions of naira everyweek.I don't even know may be people realises that the present price of crude oil is not even up to production cost per barrel.Technically,FG needs the economy than anyone else because their only means of generating revenue is by non oil revenue. Why will FG lied to shut down the economy while it is obvious FG depend on this same economy to generate revenue since the price of oil has collapse globally.Do you know how much they make from clearing fees, VAT alone? For every single passenger flying out of Nigeria you pay a $20 handling fee. That's just handling fee let alone the all other charges. Do you know there is a N1 ETF tax on every single litre of fuel you buy?? So while will FG halt the Economy and lockdown all cities just to embezzle 21billion when they have alternatives of making double of that in less than 2weeks? It is quite unfortunate that we av alot of young Nigerians that lack ability to think outside the box.Education is not indeed a certified way of literacy. 4 Likes |

Those that have the symptom of covid-19 or those that associated with Traveller both local and international should volunteer for test. Hiding your illness at this point in time is not going to help you, your family or State. The sooner the virus is detected the better. it's no longer the government that is causing us pain but those that believe "nothing dey happon" and those will want to attend burial at all cost. Some of us have been trying our best keeping distance and staying at home for 6weeks now because we are afraid to die prematurely. Please help us break the chain of spreading the virus. |

neyorlmogzy: Your conclusion is accurate. The death toll from COVID-19 in Nigeria and many countries is being grossly under reported. If you think that the number of people infected in Nigeria is less than 1000, then please wake up. It’ll be at least 10,000 infected cases and counting. Testing is almost non-existent. A country of over 200 million and number of tests done till date is still under 10,000. The sooner people obey the social distancing and hand hygiene recommendations the earlier the curve will be flattened. Until then, this pandemic will take a lot of precious lives and maim even more. Many people who recover from this terrible disease end up with residual cardiovascular, kidney or lung disease. COVID-19 is no joke! Do everything within your powers to prevent it. May God help us as we help ourselves. 1 Like |
