That's why it's the duty of the power firms to connect all households to prepaid meters, to ensure they don't run looses.
The poor can buy 60 units of power and ration it for 3 months, no one is getting robbed here.

IBEDC hasn't upgraded. Trust Ikeja Electric (IKEDC). You get your monthly bill via SMS and marketers job is made easier by that. It's a win win for them. Cost of printing bills is eliminated, no excuse that bill flew into the air and online payment is quite easier.

The House of Representatives had passed a bill that no DISCO should send Estimated billing to Nigerians,now,Ikdc is doing that with impunity,yet you are rejoicing!.Is that not flagrant disregard for our Laws!.Do you even blame them for such act,when we have the man up here talking with two sides of mouth since he doesn't know his right.The IKDC has failed in all ramifications to give light as when due,due to failure to replace dilapidated equipments-Transformers,Sub-Stations etc,Nigeria is a land of suffering and smiling .
