Total Lockdown will not solve this virus problem. If it could, USA and Britain wouldn't have had such massive increment in the rate of infections and deaths despite the facts that they started the lockdown before Nigeria and we're more discipline in keeping to it.
What Nigeria needs to do is to keep encouraging social distancing and banning large gatherings coupled with the use of personal protective equipment as initially announced by Lagos State government. The Federal Govt idea of total Lockdown is ill-thought, cynical and retrogressive and will only continue to lead to social and economic disaster for the people and nation.

This governor looks and sounds different from his counterparts.

Meanwhile, others are extending by another 2 weeks, giving police more time and opportunity to extort and kill more Nigerians.

Honestly, Oyo got it wrong this time around. I don't belong to any political parties because I don't like Nigerians political game, but Makinde has been derailed of ideas on how to govern, no sound economy policies, no policy direction...

In a place like Nigeria, it will be very hard to practice lockdown and social distancing but not impossible

youngest commissioner is from Kwara state not oyo state. GSM played politics more than Governance

Lockdown is worldwide, from UK to USA to Canada to Saudi Arabia to Spain to Iran to China to South Africa and so on. But you guys want something unique to your environment, I do hope you get whatever it is. They are aware, they just don't care, especially because some of them that caught the virus and spent government money to recover they now see it as a no big deal and avenue to loot more money. Until their family starts getting infected and dying, they will continue to let the virus spread among the poor masses. But God pass them
