Married People Only. Does Marriage Reduce Sexual Urge? by Frankbikk: 4:15pm On Apr 26, 2020
I am a Christian. Sometimes,it is not easy keeping oneself (from sexual sin). This period has even made it worse because of the lockdown. Before the lockdon,i can go to work and return by 7. I will cook and bath and before you know it,I am already asleep till the next day. But now, staying at home twenty four hours a day. Except working online. The urge is on a high side. I usually think getting married is the only way to reducing sexual urge.
Does getting married reduce sexual urge? Does your wife always give it to you anytime you want it?
I wanted to get married so as to reduce the urge drastically. But do you think this is the solution?
No insult. Matured mind only

Your wife won't give you anytime you want it...women do act funny sometimes when it come to sex even when in marriage so you'll have to bear it cos that's one among many complications in marriage.
And for your sexual urge, it is normal. We humans are wired differently and marriage won't change it either...

Bro. Let me tell you, sexual urge might reduce when married due to stress and added responsibilities which can affect your libido. And also I'm sorry to tell you this your wife would soon stop allowing you to have sex at your own convenience after marriage. She would allow you only when she wants to, but most of the time she will feign a headache or one of the other hundreds of excuses in her mind.

So at these times if you are the type with a high sex drive you have to just cope with a big unsatisfied boner sulking all day or just get yourself a side chick to ease it off.

Where did you get the thought that marriage 'reduces' libido?

Your question should be 'will you always satisfy your sexual urges'?

It depends on your wife and yourself.

It will shock you when responsibilities of life starts falling on you and the last thing you will think of is sexx.
When house rent, wedding cost, furnishing apartment, buying land, building house, having another source of income outside your job, car and maintenance, school fees, naming, burial, in-laws, parents calling for assistance, medical bills etc
E go shock you.

A large number of married men still masturbate. Alot of married men only have sex once a month or sometimes once in two months or more.
Marriage won't cure your sex drive, it wouldn't also provide an avenue for unlimited sex. The only woman who wouldn't ever turn you down is a paid hooker.
I advice men not to marry for beauty or sex, marry a woman who is your friend and has your back.

Marriage doesn't change anything about sexuality. You will still desire sex just like when you were single. The idea of getting it anytime you want it is fallacy. If you believe marriage will automatically help you escape from sexual immorality you will be disappointed when you eventually get married.

However, Marriage coupled with self control is a potent weapon against sexual immorality as a christian.

Ofcourse it did but overtime i became used to it and adjusted but tbh, the initial first 3 years of marriage wasn't really rosy and sometimes i do wonder if i made the right decision even though my wife is good and understanding.
I don't know of other things but if it is Sexx, then the best time you will ever have it is when you started up to NYSC graduation after which a new life will start entirely.
You enjoy sexx and you express and receive Love most when not under pressure or been influenced by external factors of life like Bills.
When you call your parents and get pocket money and foodstuffs, you don't worry much and will be thinking of sexx and Love most times until Reality hits you when you start living alone and paying your bills.

Hmmmmmm leant something new today, I've always known the first years of marriage isn't always smooth because there will be lots of change and adjustment to be done during this period but your hint is giving me more orientation grin.
That sex part, I wonder what we team No sex until marriage will face then cry. No fun for us? cry cry cry.
But then, your submission is kind of contrary to a thread I read here today. Where women complained of their husbands giving it to them left, right and center EVERYDAY. That one is scary sha grin grin

Sure, guys nowadays are using different kind of enhancing drugs to scatter and finish ladies. I don't know why but i think life frustration adds to it.
When you are not productive or jobless, then you turn to drugs and channel all your energies to killing a lady on bed.
