I selected the ones I go before the mix together and sieved the rest....boiled and used with half and a bit more of sachet Gino (pepper & onions) paste.

I don’t understand the envy for prestonn oh.
Because of this stupid envy the guy stopped posting here like he used to.
There’s a difference between hating and criticism, the meals you see being posted here are actually prepared and eaten by the posters.

Don’t hate because you can’t relate due to poverty. And, sometimes the food even looks better due to camera and presentation.

Get yourself a better phone, learn some presentation skills and even if you post meals that were prepared with 600naira they’d look better than prestonn/chasers food.

If you can’t take the above advise, shut the fvck up and move on.

Imo, Salmon tastes like white kote (horse mackerel) fish.
They sell shrimps in naija. Fresh fish markets usually have them and they taste better than the frozen ones being sold in stores. I am sure ShopRite would have the frozen ones.

I agree to this. Camera quality makes a lot of difference. Some camera especially DSLR type one used by food bloggers on instagram would make the food colours pop out complete with excellent colour seperation - those guys mean business. A lot of posters here are just posting for fun plus to share ideas and are not food bloggers or SM influencers. smiley

@akposy, I tried out your mango cake recipe and it ended in tears for me, when I tried turning the cake over for the top to get baked, it broke ,the top came off, leaving the bottom stuck to the pan..... the cake looked too moist.

Are you sure there is no vegetable oil in the recipe? I don't really like the taste too... I'm crying right now....

I'm so sorry it came out bad for you.
Did you use the exact measurements? Why did you turn the cake? You'd have preheated your oven first before baking so the heat can be evenly distributed.

There's no oil or butter in the recipe.

I agree. The most or rather one of the most important thing in photography is light. I use a Tecno Spark to take my pics but they still come out good. I either use natural light (sunlight) or my rechargeable light. Food photography is interesting
