As my female friends in Nigeria would say 'Saturday is for Owanbe' the current novel coronavirus outbreak: fear and panic has changed the phrase from 'Saturday is for staying at home'.

Amid coronavirus lockdown extension in Greece which will be over soon, I paid a visit to the street market in the country.

I got to the market 9: 00 AM this morning and Police were already standing everywhere like Goodluck Jonathan visit to Lagos in 2015.

Why is there market today when there's a lockdown?

The city doesn't have any patient living with coronavirus, every suspected case are being transferred to Larisa. For instance, the cases in 36 states of Nigeria moved to Abuja & Lagos for treatment, so the government announced yesterday that the market should open.

More than 50,000 people have violated the country lockdown, according to the record.

I will be sharing some of the photos from my today market and the food I ate last week till this afternoon.

Please, I want you to understand that all my thread on Nairaland is a contribution to the platform and they are for entertainment purpose, I am not a rich person neither am I showing off. I am still very jobless here in Europe.

Check out the photos below.

That mean one has to come on a work visa meaning you have to get a job while in Nigeria then apply for visa u guess or if you can recommend another option

What about the language? Europe is not like Nigeria where a Chinese person would come and start working. Language is a must, except for farm job in some countries. If you are travelling abroad, hustle visa yourself and don't do anything with an agent kiss the best time to travel and seek for visa during summer kiss visit the embassy portal of your favourite country to check for working permit visa.

Gone are those days when posting pictures from abroad was swag. Now we just see you as one Nigerian living in some part of the word that's more exposed to the virus and secretly longing to come home. So buy your tomato, remain inside your house and stay safe.
