Erm, phone is not as stable as the snapdragon version plus it's dead in terms of software update is concerned. It's stuck at miui 9 whereas even the Redmi note 3 special edition got miui 10.

They should have resolved these issues in newer units, plus GSM arena says the MTK version has miui 10

How do a smartphone manufacturer fix issues that has to do with a Chipset they don't manufacture?
