Cuba is only close to North America but it is not in North America. There are only three countries in North America. Try to use google.

Alright let me just say you are partially right about that. But it's sad you don't know anything about Cuba. Alright listen, North America is a continent that consists of three regions namely, the northern America, the Caribbean and Central America. Northern America includes world's largest island called Greenland, while the three sovereign states in northern America are US, Canada and Mexico. Hence there are four countries in northern America region namely, Greenland, USA, Canada and Mexico. three out of the four are the sovereign countries.
The Caribbean is a region in North America that consist of about 24 countries. Countries like Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica and the likes.
Lastly, the Central America is also a region in North America that consists of seven countries namely, Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Panama City, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
Hence, USA, Canada and Mexico are not the only countries in North America but the sovereign countries in the northern region of North America. While Cuba is not a country near north America but a country in the Caribbean region of North America as a continent.

So when next you ask people to use their google, use yours first.
