This is why I find the Nigerian Medical Association's reaction to the Chinese doctors arriving laughable. They interpreted it as a threat to their privileges and a lack of confidence in their expertise - a triumph of ego/pride, driven by insecurity, over scientific collaboration.

So Cuba has so many doctors? The other time they were sent to Italy and no South Africa.

I just don't understand the brain behind having doctors from other affected countries to provide support or whatever reason(s) the receiving government puts out. What do these doctors have that can't be communicated or shared via teleconferencing? Must they come in persons? Who puts himself/herself in harm's way for no reason? It is well.

The bitter truth is for the virus to go away, there needs to be more tests. More tests mean increase in the number of cases. So because cases are increasing doesn't mean someone else brought the virus, it simply means tests have increased. The earlier tests increases, the earlier we get more cases and the earlier we get to our peak and curve will start going down. It's better this happens faster like in the next few weeks than fold our arms, do less tests, get less cases and we are happy we don't have much cases. Only for the thing to triple or even quadruple in 2-3 months time and by then it would be out of control.

Take a look at Italy, when they increased tests, they had more cases. Though they did slack at the start and it really affected them. But now they have flattened their curve within 1 month of serious testing. They have 26k deaths and 195k confirmed cases. It could have been worse if they didn't intesify tests.

Now look at the UK and France, they are not testing enough and at the start we all thought the UK was fine. They had less cases, way less than Italy. But after a few weeks the cases and deaths started to increase at an alarming rate. Today they have over 148k cases and over 20k deaths. They have not even reached their peak and of care is not taken they will record more deaths than Italy and Spain.

Now these are real doctors not those fake propaganda Chinese piece of crap...
