The best way to raise capital is tru savings, family and friends.

For now, we just seat back and learn. If u have any suggestion I am open to hearing it.

I'm given u an example. Few bought Btc at 18k since 2017 and it has not even reach that level till date. Btc is good but my point is dont invest all. Cos of newbie. It can hurt them
Why would you buy btc at 18k? That's so high. Unless you want to buy and use instantly.

I got a divend credit alert from United Capital an Investment Banking firm, FCMB and First Bank paid yesterday evening. The alert woke me up. Besides the lockdown makes it possible for me to get additional sleep of 2 hours during the day

Where do you buy your bitcoin from please?
And where to sell to?
I’m still looking for a convenient way of buying.

Check remitano, localbitcoins and also binance exchange(you can buy btc from your bank with only 150 naira as transaction charges, even to the tune of 18,000,000 naira) and finally black market(risky except u use escrow service to stay safe or someone u know very well)

Hmm. Are you sure this is the best time to invest in TB?

I invested in February for 182. And by the time the investment matures in August, the capital would have lost enough value.

How much did I gain from such a pointless endeavor? A paltry 57k on an investment of "three point something million."

the problem is the 10 trillion pension funds sitting idle with narrow room to invest, they are willing to accept 2 percent...the Dmo and cbn has found so omo at 13 for fdiand banks by cbn to get forex and manage liquidity ..the dmo do Ntb at 4.2 and saving bond at 6 to grap the pension funds and other idle funds ....now mnc firms are also targeting Nb com paper , dangote bond 11 , flour mills @ 7 so now bank will announce bonds at 9 and suck up cheap money then loan out at 23

This 10trillion, have they not tied most of it already this past few months?

You said it all i made that same mistake building 5bedroom duplex in the village which i have not slept in for one day since 2015 i build the house, everyday of my life i cry and regret millions spend on building the house just because of per pressure.

Learnt this along time ago, I spend roughly 300k annually to maintain our empty house in the village. Bush clearing, security man, and small small maintenance. Termites have eaten all the wooden doors and wardrobes.leaking roof etc

A house I inherited.

So with this experience, I don't think I would even build at all, this one is enough. I will swallow my pride and ignore, unless I hammer....Big

True , true.....chai...

But with this development rates should climb abit like 7-8%.

And the FG will still borrow more, they are just starting. Oil prices are not looking good at all, still dropping and projections for a possible bounce will be around August.

Thé interest is very discouraging compared to what the capital could have earned you.

You are not left out, I have 5m Naira in TB that will land in my acc tomorrow, the interest earned on that is annoying now, I don't even know what to do with the money maybe do giveaway but only if it will bring me more money angry

we are already use to these fluctuations. no matter what life continues.d fundamental problem of nigeria is still begging for a solution. before they said d system cant work well under corrupt leader , now we have a man of integrity same outcome, its time to restructure.
lets not cry much, we re all fuc.kd here, whetther u hedge in naira or dollar. if u save in dollar,u will still spend d dollar and have need for more, dt time u buy at d high rate. d rise in dollar will make prices to go up, so when u save in dollar d inflation will affect u one way or d other, dollar keeps rising bc many speculators re buyin up dollars, sth might happen and many will rush to sell off and price go crash. we will al adjust to d new high rate, for those in biz, u buy dollar high u sell ur goods high too, u go to buy ither stuffs u need in nigeria d price will be high too. so everything high high. na workers wit fixed salary go suffer most.best re people who earn in usd. if u earn in naira u re still fckd. i have lots of goods in warehouse bt will seel them finish and will require to buy more so my joy will be cut short.

I almost laffed, at ur write-up but na serious matter.
Been in on the US equities since 2015, good returns but very risky.......one month u are up, the next u are clinging for ur dear money.(side hussle)
but earning in $ is the surest bet. imagine if $1 = N1. my 2m can buy a bugatti.....or lambo...

Another good reason for investment. Returns can even enter without any restriction of lockdown, curfew, sleep, odd hours. More returns on the way. On the other hand a person that fail to invest sometimes can be woken up by debt issues at retirement.
