Within the past decade, promiscuity among ladies in Nigeria has been on the increase and many young ladies are daily engaging in the trade.

It should be stressed that the growing rate of such acts among teenage girls and young adults now in the society calls for a great concern.

The reasons for this new trend may not be far fetched. Some of the causes are; Poverty, unemployment, drug abuse and alcoholism, social ills and moral decadence in society, new materialism, inequity and social injustice, dropout from educational institutions, looseness and carelessness of parent and biological factors.

Educating them on *"The Hazards of Inappropriate Sexual Habit"* and how inappropriate sexual habit has brought in its trail on new epidemics of sexually transmitted diseases will go a long way.

Inculcating moral discipline into individuals will help in eradicating these social vices in the society. It will provide inspirations required by Nigerians to unanimously fight against these vices. All Nigerians must adhere to moral tenets to enable it produce total transformation of their lives which will bring sanity to the society.

Who are the young ladies sleeping with?
This tells you that not only the ladies are to be blamed but the men as well. Like the saying goes "it takes two to tango".

If men and women are taught that there are consequences for their actions, these issues would drastically reduce, but when only one party is told to behave while the other party is allowed to behave as they wish, we are all just deceiving ourselves.
