I have been living a single and a solo life all through my life. This indeed has saved me from all kinds of hassle relating to couple life. There wasn't any devastating issue from inlaws or from the partner. This indeed seems good to me..because of all the dreaded issues in marriages I usually read about in this platform.

You 'attain' marriage because your natural state is 'singleness'.

There are reasons to get married, and reasons to be single. Depending on what you're looking for/value in life, both states can have their benefits

Anyone can get married...literally.

But if marriage is what you're into, a happy, healthy marriage with the ‘right’ person (whatever that means to you) is the blessing

It's whatever works for you. After all nobody is forcing you to get married

If not for unnecessary pressures from my mum and older siblings, I would have loved to remain single.

I'll just work, make money and create a paradise on earth for myself. Then travel round the whole world!

I'll hire some caregivers ( docs, nurses, physiotherapists, cooks and cleaners). Pay a good funeral home in advance to take care of my remains in the event of death.
Of course, I'll will my wealth to charity and to deserving relatives.

When I join my ancestors, I'll explain to them why I took the decision not to marry.

You're either single or married. If you're not married and you keep moving from one relationship to another, then you're technically marrying and remarrying. In fact, you're "doing more" than the married folks. Not very easy to keep switching love, committing, and recommitting to different persons.

To say marriage is overrated while jumping from one relationship to another is senseless.

I always thought single life was dope until I moved into a very big house alone. There’s a reason God said it’s not good for man to be alone. Lol. I Dey marry ASAP.
