dicksonadams: He had an accident with the Matrix, so the airbag has done its job. What I know is: Steering wheels are interchangeable between the 2003-2008 Corolla, Matrix and Pontiac Vibe. What I also know is: the airbags are not all the same for the Corolla/Matrix/Vibe (not sure a Matrix airbag will work on a Vibe and vice versa) To find out which is which contact Aunty Rad or Gazz for professional advice as some airbags employ just one connector while the same three spoked wheel steering has two connectors. |

Hello house. I have 3 questions: 1. Is Toyota Avensis 2004-2006 with 1.8L engine underpowered? 2. How can one raise the ground level of the avensis a bit without affecting the stability of the car 3. How can you compare the Avensis (1.8L engine) with Camry 2005-2006 (2.4L engine) in terms of durability and cost of parts. Thank you all. |

Please guys I need some advice. I have a budget of 1.5m to 2m and I want to get my first car. What are your recommendations? I prefer Lexus or Toyota. I also would prefer a Tokumbo. Additionally I would like the most classy car available at that price and fair fuel consumption. Thanks a lot. Please recommend more than one even if its outside the preference above |

PerfectE: Bad time for car purchases. Wait three months and re-evaluate your options. |

HeavenlyBang: It's actually a good time to buy. People are selling their cars cheap in USA cos of this pandemic. A lot are out of jobs. A friend bought a 2012 BMW 328i yesterday for $3150 just needing rear bumper change which is ridiculously cheap. |

drakeskull: Interesting. Private seller? |

HeavenlyBang, Aaaaarghmed, nurey and every experienced people, I greet you all. Thank you for your wealth of knowledge and support to us who knows little about cars. I am planning to buy a run cheap about vehicle with some good power but I'm in a bit of a dilemma and I have tried contacting Kingreign but he's been busy. Please between a Ford Edge 07-09 and an Acura MDX 04-06 both clean and properly maintained, which is a better car and a better buy and why? |

afangsoup:I would prefer to use a good condition MDX than the ford edge.I heard the ford edge has pricey parts. The acura would be less easier and cheaper to own in Naija and I believe mechs wudnt find it hard to work on. 1 Like |

Aaaaarghmed: And don't forget the Ford edge has a water pump driven by timing change, replacing the water pump could be pricy |

Please, I need a comparison between 2013 Toyota Avalon and 2015 Toyota Camry Ease of maintenance Reliability Ground clearance Comfort for long distance driving Thank you |
Re: The Official Car Comparison/Recommendation Thread by HeavenlyBang(m): 4:21pm On May 01, 2020 |
lexini: Avalon is muuuch better than the Camry. That generation is a slightly cheaper ES with almost all of the equipment. |
Re: The Official Car Comparison/Recommendation Thread by lexini: 6:23pm On May 01, 2020 |
thanks Heavenlybang I'd love a more detailed comparison please... HeavenlyBang: |

How does this help me? Weyrepey: |
Re: The Official Car Comparison/Recommendation Thread by HeavenlyBang(m): 7:54pm On May 01, 2020 |
lexini: Rogue account. Ignore. lexini: Honestly, both cars are as reliable as cars get. The 2GR-FE is probably the most bullet-proof engine in the world by this point. It's been used for 15 years. Avalon has bigger wheels, I believe. Should have higher ground clearance, especially since it's supposed to be more comfortable. Avalon is better for long distance. Just buy the Avalon, man. No idea why anyone would possibly want to buy the Camry over it, unless budget is a big factor. Camry - 5m Avalon - 6m 3 Likes |
