Not a fan of atiku, but the truth is that broadcasting in Nigeria is not a financially profitable venture. Anyone into broadcasting in Nigeria, radio or television, is either in government, or is doing it out of passion/interest.

AIT, and TVC, bigger organizations than Atiku's have sacked workers in the past. And then there is the owner of NICON whose attempt to go into broadcasting failed because money.

Let's not even talk about the attempts to get an indigenous competitor to DSTV....which always fail because, you guessed it, money.

If you contact in government leaves tomorrow you will have a massive drop in patronage/revenue but you still have to carry the same wage bill!
