kikero: No reasonable investor would put money in a business whose only chance of getting patronage depends on who you know in government. If your contact in government leaves tomorrow you will have a massive drop in patronage/revenue but you still have to carry the same wage bill! |

This is how he will sack NNPC staffs and civil servants and sell the refineries and all ministries to his friends or pay them from the government vouchers. Crude oil was $70 per barrel when Uncle Jonathan and Madam Kofo aka Okonjo were borrowing money to pay salaries alone. It's now $16 per barrel and up till now the present administration has not borrow money to pay salaries neither has any federal government staffs complained of being own salaries but instead the present administration has been releasing money for physical project and social amnesties. IPOB will still come here to defend him and tell me one reason why Ada Biafra aka Dr Kemi will not use their head to play table tennis. 4 Likes |

piggyyeaster: Not a fan of atiku, but the truth is that broadcasting in Nigeria is not a financially profitable venture. Anyone into broadcasting in Nigeria, radio or television, is either in government, or is doing it out of passion/interest. AIT, and TVC, bigger organizations than Atiku's have sacked workers in the past. And then there is the owner of NICON whose attempt to go into broadcasting failed because money. Let's not even talk about the attempts to get an indigenous competitor to DSTV....which always fail because, you guessed it, money. |

SaintLucia: Actually, the loans Buhari has been taking....are in a way indirectly for salaries. Also, during the Jona admin, Nigeria needed oil at $122 in 2015 to run a budget without borrowing. By 2017 it was $139 , now it is $135 per barrel. Those are our breakeven prices. That's why Jonathan was borrowing, and why Buhari has to, and will borrow. The price of oil isn't high enough for our needs. |

piggyyeaster:You can imagine! Atiku even employed and had to sack up to that number. What happened to you idol, Buhari, who never employed a cleaner, owned no new car except the mercedes Benz of '80s, build no new house, has no money in his bank account(has to borrow to buy nomination form), acquired no new educational qualification, etc? |
