Countries with numbers hundreds of times greater than Nigeria's are reopening because because perpetual lockdown is not sustainable anywhere in the world.
Lockdown or open up,Nigeria's numbers will continue going up for sometime as more people get tested.
The only thing that would help us is to hope the white man,as usual,finds a way to defeat this Covid,either with a vaccine (the best)or a treatment.

It is just so unfortunate that the government still wants to go ahead with the opening of the economy seeing how cases of corona virus in its numbers. God help us all as we start our days beginning from tomorrow

This is what I've seen in the four weeks since infection--people killing people. Which is much what I saw in the four weeks before infection, and the four weeks before that, and before that, and as far back as I care to remember. People killing people. Which to my mind, puts us in a state of normality right now.

28 died since the infection from the infection, but do you care to ask how many have died during the infection, but outside the infection?

If the government kept an accurate data of those dying before the infection, will you think the infection is less or more of a killer?

You have enough to eat and possibly a very fat bank account, so lockdown is never a problem to you. Go out and see how people are suffering and dying silently of hunger. If the government had put enough palliative measures in place, we would all have supported the lockdown no matter how long it will take.

NOBODY IS ASKING QUESTIONS. THE RATE OF DEATHS IN NIGERIA FROM COVID-19 COMPLICATIONS IS HIGHER THAN THOSE FROM OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES.

THERE ARE THINGS WE ARE NOT GETTING RIGHT. GHANA WITH ABOUT 2138 CASES HAS 18 CASUALTIES. NIGERIA WITH 2368 CASES ALREADY HAS 87 CASUALTIES. OUR GOVERNMENT IS IRRESPONSIBLY CULPABLE.
