Are there no drone shots of the nice parts of Ibadan that their pics are usually uploaded on here!? What of the university area and GRA?

I see the drone accurately captured about 1/4 of Ibadan. What the drone captured is the den of warriors of the restless Ibadan days. You can't capture Ibadan in a 2:19 aerial drone view, the city just keeps widening.

People really think the city is all slums and yet it's witnessing more development than ever. I just hate talking about the modern Ibadan the same way I hate defending some cities in the east when myopic people starts giving their opinions.

Nobody is saying Ibadan isn't developing just like other cities in Nigeria. The point is, what is the ratio of the developed places to the slums, and to what extent are the developing places developing?

If you like say all you Want about ibadan from now till forever, it won't change the fact that buses loaded with your people will keep emptying in Ibadan everyday, peace mass transit terminal in Ibadan is a testament to that. It still wouldn't change the fact that you vagabonds will leave your "Eldorado" 500 kilometers away to school in Ibadan, instead of attending all their imsu, pupsu etc.

Had Igbos find Ibadan Viable and continue investing there they will discredit it but now see what Ibadan is looking at many years after its historic emergence as one of the ancient West African City. A law Shou be passed that each of the sophisticated people should either renovate his house or change his roof to make the city look a little bit ok.

On the other hand I Love that City Ibandan
Just the brown roof

Won't be able to give you the figure accurately because I haven't been to all the developing places and the slums. But I know it's about 4:1 and that's because from any good aerial view of Ibadan (including Bower's Tower), you can only see around 1/4 and the slums are concentrated.

You are talking too much Man... The slums of Ibadan as whole is over 80% of the city... People who live in slums with no toilets, cant have a better living standard than people who live in standard 3bedroom flats and duplexes,

its not just Ibadan, it like that in most towns in the southwest. its a trademark for all southwestern cities. they have similar rickety, filthy and disorganized setting

These are parts of Ado ekiti and Ayegbaju town. why do all towns in southwest town look similar. so rickety, filthy and disorganized. Villages in the east don't look this bad.

Yeet y'll wanderers won't stop coming there, oh, you must love slums so much that you can't wait for the next bus. What do we have in common with you? Do we share land borders with you? Rivers?? So what the hell do you want in our land? As far as we are concerned, we do not know you and we hate you as well, we do not want you in our land.

Woooow....you're this knowledgeable about Ibadan and every other city? You should have say so jor...this is one of the reasons I hate argument too o. Now that you've stated the 'facts', I can peacefully go away. But sir, any time you get a chance to develop any of the cities in Nigeria, please do... I think that's what will help not necessarily these proving of points.

tell that to the Chinese, Indians and Lebanese, at least they can afford to fly down to africa, the same way an igboman can afford to enter bus down west. Those buses are not cheap am sure you know that. Ibadan slum dwellers cant afford them. He has to think of his stomach first, even if it is to do small begging or agbero at the igbo mans bus park to be able to feed.

Coming from a vagabond, how funny. You shameless lot can't even attend schools in your mudslide region, you have to hljourney 500kms away to escape from your imsu, absu and other useless glorified secondary schools. Comparing Chinese and Lebanese with you wanderers is the greatest aberration, below is what the Chinese and the lebanese do over here and not selling of earpiece and fanyogo. An ibadan man wouldn't even deign so low to go to such unproductive overcrowded forests where it's occupiers can't wait to catch the next bus away from there. Bunch of cursed wanderers.

The fools even leave their overcrowded forests 500kms away to attend schools here, just like Africans would journey to the UK and US to attend schools. Theirs low budget secondary schools they called Universities like imsu, absu and there "su" schools aren't even enough for these bunch of forest apes.
