potbelly: In economics we call that black market. They are Hoarding the goods. Increase in demand of phones and decrease or limited phones available + the ones going to be imported now will be costly, so the phones are sold at a higher price 6 Likes 1 Share |

well technically so, as Dollar - to Naira exchange rate would be affected, so are prices of goods we need forex for, and since oil price crash and low sales of crude oil means we wont be getting dollars for our forex needs anytime soon, expect a long days of price hike, except all the loans Buhari Sinzumoney is begging for pulls through if not eehn!! na die . 10 Likes 1 Share |

Yes, borders are closed, airports closed. Hence, importations halted. As a result of the above, hoarding is the order of the day. Nobody wants to quickly run out of stock when you can't easily restock. Finally, prices are high now and may even get higher post corona era. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

the increase in price of phones should be the least of your worries. We have bigger problems, the world’s economy is in a massive decline. The ripple effects aren’t being felt yet, we all should expect tough times in the future 4 Likes 2 Shares |
