Please house, if one graduates, does it mean one can no longer access ones's profile?

I finished my masters programme around 2015/2016, since then I have been unable to access my profile. Does it mean it was closed down?
Yes, you have been removed from the portal. Few months after graduation, your profile is deactivated

Enskynelson:

Edited.
I can bet you that the reasons those Universities write the entrance/qualifying exams is mostly because they have more students applying for less 'spaces'. In the case of NOUN, in fact they are looking for more students as there's no visible limit to the number of students they can handle. ....And our comparisons will be worthwhile if we try to compare NOUN with other Open Universities.
There are shortfalls and as well as advantages. We are all here talking about 30 marks in an assignment for those students who choose to unethically contract their assignments meanwhile there are many conventional Universities out there in Nigeria where students 'sort' to pass all their courses yet the students don't feel this way. Why are we not shouting that to the world? How many of your lectures victimize you? How many of them ask you for money or sex for grade? In conventional Universities in a country as divergent as Nigeria, some people can victimize students even because of tribe, sex (male or female), religion etc but do we have that in NOUN? Even the so-called admissions that they write entry/qualifying exams for. The admissions are marred by gross favouritism and tribalism. Is NOUN admission system not the fairest of systems in Nigeria? Why are we not screaming that to the world?
Inferiority is of the mind and if NOUN students cannot even stand up to push out their strength, no one else will do it better. No matter how the school try, if the students/graduates of NOUN choose to remain with inferior mind, he will remain inferior. Many of the NOUN students and graduates seem to focus on the hole of the doughnut instead of the whole of the doughnut. Focus on your current strength and project yourself instead of feeling inferior for the minor issues.
Happy New Month to everyone here.
if I could like this comment a million times, I would've clicked it. You're absolutely correct. Thank you! kiss

For those who wish to post their NOUN transcripts to other institutions for one reason or the other, it works. And it's in fact surprisingly efficient. It definitely worked for me, and it will work for you too.

All you need to do is fill in an online form (from nou.edu.ng) and submit.

If you are sending your transcript to an institution outside of the country, it is not 10k, but 20k.

To fill the form, make sure u have a soft copy of your birth certificate, remita receipt, bank teller (not necessarily) and prove of graduation (You can screenshot where your name appears on the grad list, since you don't yet have your certificate)

Make sure you get the email address of the institution you want it to be delivered.

For more information, visit www.nouneco.com
And check the blog post section.
Are you saying this based on experience or just looking for traffic to your blog because here's the thing.

I applied for my transcript to be sent to WES last year 4th October 2019. By the special grace of God and to my surprise WES indicated that they got my transcript from my school at around 10th January 2020 and are waiting for your institution(s) to verify your documents
Now I called that their useless number which they have on their website that they only pick up when they feel like. That their number has automatically be registered on my phone as a frequently called contact because of the number of times I have called them, so one day a girl picks up my call, I explain to her that WES sent them my certificate and transcript for a second Verification she said they will reply WES to verify my documents. This was in January 2020 and as I am typing this my status on WES is still On hold meaning NOUN never sent the document verification.

Again I applied for my transcript to be sent to a Nigerian university around 28 February 2020 and did everything I was supposed to.
I will call the number on their website to know how far with sending the transcript but nobody will pick the phone. I tried to get through to them several times but to no avail until this lockdown was imposed.
Even now calling the number is just a waste of time because it is no longer going through.

So this is me speaking from my experience, I have missed several oversee admission window simply because I couldn't send my official transcript and seriously starting to regret schooling at NOUN.

I have to agree with you in a way. After I applied for my transcript to be delivered to a university abroad, I thought it worked ooo. But it did not. The University abroad was fair enough to give me admission based on my statement of result, because of the grades, on the condition that the transcript will be delivered to them by December 1, 2020.

I had imagined transcript delivery works at NOUN. I have waited a long time too. I'm just as frustrated as you are. I am not happy about it too.

I did the same. When it comes to things like this, I can be very persuasive. But it didn't work. I sent messages to them on all platforms, email, whatsapp, SMS, no response, no feedback. I'm just trying to take everything cool because I don't wanna have a hypertension. As a result of this attitude, lack of information and delay, it is indeed regrettable that I studied at NOUN.

We know how some workers can behave nonchalantly, i would suggest we mobilize our self and bombard their twitter handle(if we know the VC or any top person's handle, we can copy them). Let's make it trend on social media...and i tell you the person(s) in charge will do the needful.

Should in case any NOUN official is here and can see this, pls note, that it is things like this that will make students sing praise of the school...it baffles me, what it takes for someone to just reply a mail. Those who work in private firms know that responding to mail is a given, everything is time bound. You shouldn't use your own to delay my life.

NOUN should do better in this aspect, people should not be made to suffer for their transcript to be sent or for confirmation of the certificate/ transcript delayed. one or two staff should be dedicated to do this.
