That's what I said at the beginning, negotiate with your Landlord in fairness and rightness and if this does not stop him, get a lawyer to do so. |

I'm supposed to pay on the first week of March but this Pandemic couple with hard times in this Country left me confused. This is May Oga, it is two months already That your rent has expired n lockdown never start at all then. You can't use lockdown as excuse, you suppose have prepared something for your rent as early as February ending. You can only beg n promise him if he accept. |

Op is it that you don't have any amount out of the years rent that you can beg your landlord with to collect for the mean time. Your rent was due first week of march, lock down was middle of march so the lockdown doesn't seem to be an excuse and that's what your landlord might be thinking. Go and beg your landlord with the amount you have at hand, ( I am assuming you have saved up some reasonable percentage of the rent). You are at fault you should beg him politely |

klenton:You know nothing. Absolutely nothing. In your mind you are a lawyer, if it’s your personal house will you give this advice to your own tenant? They will throw you out, you’ll invite police, your landlord will be bailed out, you can now sue him to court, or he’ll sue you first. Meanwhile he has rented out the house. There are enough loopholes within tenancy agreements and trespass laws in Nigeria, your things will just rot in the rain. Op, beg and beg and beg your landlord. Tell him you are sick, or something pathetic. Don’t test someone with his property. |

chiddyok:your a pathetic fool, we are talking law and your talking illegality because of the face me i face you, which you inherited from your father u think you can do anything and get away with it, try that with someone like me and i will make sure you sell that house am a landlord too and i can never forcible evict a tenant without recourse to the law, i have the means but i will not break into a tenants house and throw away his things, it is illegal and there are severe consequences in law, anyway u cant try that with everybody, like they will fold thier hands and watch you throw away there things when you dont have a court order if someone is owing you rent or any money for that matter there are laid down rules to recover your money and evict the person, not taking laws into your hands. be there and be looking for loopholes to exploit, don't do the right thing untill you find someone that know his right and how to follow it and he will strip you of everything you ever had ewu gambia... you won't listen now and learn, everything no be gara gara. |

klenton:Baby lawyer. Just be quiet. Like I said, you know nothing. Getting personal says a lot about you. Being verbally abusive says a lot about the law you practice. What do you think a tenancy agreement is for? See you sprouting law school mantra. Practice is a whole other game. See your mouth like stripping me of everything I have. No wonder you people run from practice. And you aren’t a landlord. No landlord, I repeat non will fold his hands and watch his money waste in the name of quit notice. There’s enough room in the land use act and tenancy laws to kick defaulting tenants out. People like you are the ones that will always scream illegality because you are too lazy to test and streamline the laws. |

chiddyok:your dumb and blank, no wonder you have an 'f' attached after your name when its obvious your useless as a man first of, i never told you am a lawyer even though your invariably claiming to be one or probably a drop out but your knowledge of the law is shallow and elementary and exposes you as just a wannabe Your talking about tenancy agreement, ok let me tutor you small, any clause in an agreement that ousters an express provision of a written law or act is illegal, you also talked about land use, well land use act has nothing to do with tenancy and landlord edicts and laws, the above is a free tutorial for you, make use of it. so as a landlord i must support illegality and follow your ways of throwing thier things outside, when i know exactly how to get my money legally, evict the person and still get back whatever he was owing till the point of eviction you really sound pathetic and ignorant, we are not on the same level in any were. your talking what you don't know, show me the loopholes that empowers you to take laws into your hands....if not you will be ignored from here, cus thats what a nonentity like you derserve. btw am a multiple landlord. |

klenton:First of all, I’m a pretty little lady, secondly, I didn’t recommend throwing out your tenants, but any tenant that relies on your comment and quit notice will first of all sleep outside, before finding recourse. Thirdly, I can’t do research just to satisfy my own ego, I’ll do it if you pay me though. Finally, since you aren’t a lawyer, keep quiet. P.S I still think you aren’t a landlord. You aren’t, and nothing will change my opinion. You sound like a wicked tenant, free advice; avoid renting from a lawyer because with this attitude you’ll go to jail. Idiots always trying themselves, forming professional when they aren’t shit. There are tenancy laws, there’s also trespass laws, if they’ve ever messed with electricity you can go through phcn or your disco. You know nothing sir. Same with water board. There’s also FREP rules. I repeat, you know nothing. Absolutely nothing. Idiot forming I know my rights. The law is an elephant examined by blind men, and thus prone to interpretation. Why do you think we end up with conflicting judgements? Just rent from a lawyer and form I know my rights. Nothing forming something. Mtchw. |

chiddyok:lol.... you have to modify your earlier comment just to vomit trash, your more delusional than i thought The thing with you little gals is that you wont cool down and learn, internet has made every fool and pig to have an opinion there is no way you can be a lawyer and your spewing this gutter, if that whats your trying to say then your a disgrace and you should be reported to LPDC and be stripped of your certificate and disgraced, instead of you to uphold the law, your telling landlords to take laws into their hands and forcefully evict there tenants, you have to be a fake lawyer especially with your poor knowledge of the law your talking about fundamental rights enforcement procedure (FREP) rules when your the one taking laws into your hands, by the way FREP rules is not applicable in this situation, FREP rules has to do with enforcement of your right under the Constitution and not throwing away debtors property, idiot but you will still not learn you sound really incoherent and insane talking about water board an all in a tenancy matter?? i said it you must be a fake wannabe lawyer, i dont even know why am indulging you, ohh i know, am in the mood to impact some knowledge on the ignorant, count yourself lucky. you are the dumbest person i know since dundee debuted, i said i never told you am a lawyer, that does not mean i am or am not, but as a dumb, you have rushed into conclusion, and you thinking everyone needs to do research to impact knowledge shows how far behind you are less i forget, shove that your opinion on whether am a landlord up your ass and i mean it literally you will be ignored from here onwards, you are not worth the time |

klenton:Oga keep your anger for the women in your family. I’ve told you, as you aren’t a lawyer just shut up. Google doesn’t teach everything, stop relying on google. You have nothing to say I want to hear. Go and be a lawyer first, then practice for at least 5 years before we can talk. Until then please don’t mention me again. If you do I’ll believe you are threatened by cute little girls who play and win street games. Talking about LPDC like testing and interpreting the law isn’t developing it. Talking so vindictively, like all idle illiterates do. Something tells me you’ll need a lawyer soon anyway. I know you’ll rant and swear how you’ll rather die by hanging than pm me. Better. And you’ll remember this conversation. Bye biatch. |

klenton:I didn’t say I’m five years at the bar. I said practice for 5 years then we can talk. And it’s a faceless forum, you can toot your horn as you want. I’m not in your rat infested home to know what isn’t a lie. |
