Hello Nairalanders,

It's over 2 months now since my business was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission. Since then, they keep posting me to keep checking every week. in fact, it's no longer one week of checking anymore. I'm now told to be checking every two weeks.

One serious thing is most of them seem not to know what the problem is. This is the current situation especially at their Lagos Island Branch.

I just want to know if this is a nation-wide issue or just in the particular branch. My Clients are really angry with me as they think I'm making up stories. Of course they have verified online to see their business details but they need the hard copy of their certificate like now now.

It's happening at the Ikeja branch too.
The worst part is that there is no official position. They issue the certificate on ordinary paper, making it look like fake certificate.

May God help us in this country

I applied to Port Harcourt branch since late March, and up till now I have not heard from them or received any email as to whether my application was successfully registered or not. Are these delays in any way connected to the Pandemic outbreak?
No information, no update, no notice!
I'm just confused.

Same here. Applied since April 2nd and they haven't contacted me up til today. It still says pending on the service website. And the worst part is that none of their phone numbers are working and they don't reply emails. Zoo country.
