This is not out of the norm, there is a 2 week strict quarantine period for new arrivals whether you tested positive or not, due to a 2 week incubation period the Covid-19 has. After 2 weeks the strict restriction should be lifted according to protocol. It’s tough but I don’t think the govt is being harsh intentionally. Just my opinion anyway. |

“We are not allowed to even stroll within the compound. We are just inside our rooms. If things continue this way, some of us may even fall sick from being idle,” he said.Stroll and infect others? |

Ta! Sharap! Were you not the people crying that FG should rescue you? So you expect 5 star treatment and release into Nigeria so you can bring as much death with you! They are saying they are being treated as if they have Covid. The people who brought Covid into Nigeria came from where? Just be grateful that you are not homeless in UK. Wait out your 14days and if you are clear you go home. Silly people. |

Two weeks quarantine requirement is just to wait to see if the infected will start having symptoms. Unfortunately, many are asymptomatic, and never show signs of the disease throughout infection period. The best thing to do is to repeat the test after a few days, 3-5 days, anyone infected will test positive to PCR test, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic. This should be standard. UK's isolation time is even one week. We in Nigeria copy and do dumb things. |

naijanative:The UK is a terrible example. They have the most deaths in Europe and its growing. Many people there are still not taking it seriously there, some are throwing parties in their homes. Two weeks isolation is right. |

In their minds, they should given a red carpet to walk on. Let's forget them there, when they are serious we will know. |

When you're on quarantine, you are not supposed to come out of your apartment. They want someone to come check on their condition. Who's going to jeopardize their to health to go visit them? That's funny! |

naijanative:Nigeria is doing the right thing. Not everything you read online is true. All diagnostic tests come with limitations especially the "rapid" ones. Left to me, the returnees will be forced into 28 days quarantine because the consequence of an error is very high. |
