naijanative:
Two weeks quarantine requirement is just to wait to see if the infected will start having symptoms. Unfortunately, many are asymptomatic, and never show signs of the disease throughout infection period.

The best thing to do is to repeat the test after a few days, 3-5 days, anyone infected will test positive to PCR test, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic. This should be standard. UK's isolation time is even one week.

We in Nigeria copy and do dumb things.
no bring UK into the matter make I no vex. The worst country to manage covid 19.

They are in Quarantine!
You're supposed to be isolated to see if you develop the virus within 14 days

How will you be allowed to move around??

I thought these folks were educated, or enlightened about the processes!

This is not out of the norm, there is a 2 week strict quarantine period for new arrivals whether you tested positive or not, due to a 2 week incubation period the Covid-19 has.

After 2 weeks the strict restriction should be lifted according to protocol. It’s tough but I don’t think the govt is being harsh intentionally. Just my opinion anyway.

Whether intentional or not, our govt has never gotten a pass mark in handling things.

They said they don't feed well and that they are being monitored roughly like criminal detainees.

They committed no crime but should be allowed to breath while they keep social distancing.

"The norm", l hear u say... trash... what of the people running from isolation centres? Will u be sick, being given the appropriate treatment and u would want to escape that? Think sense or keep mom.

What kind of nation is this? God! unfortunately, some citizens never care to say the truth.

Pray it doesn't get to ur turn someday o

ONE NIGERIA IS A BIG SCAM!!!

Alex Onyema CEO of Airpeace Airline evacuated Nigerians free of Charge from South Africa the same evacuation even Nigeria government are charging people during this Pandemic...

Alex Onyema volunteered his Aircraft to fly in Chinese Doctors with their Covid-19 aid to Nigeria which made history first time in Nigeria Aviation passenger flight will take off in Nigeria and land in China and return back directly to Nigeria too....

Now its time for business and Nigeria government chose Emirate Airline that charged Nigerians in UAE x2 which is #280000 for economy class and #560000 for business class for one way trip back home in the name of evacuation....

At the same time Nigeria government is negotiating with Ethiopian Airline to evacuate Nigerians from China the same country Airpeace voluntary donated its Aircraft to receive aid for Nigerian government...

The hatred this present government have on Igbos are so visible... Why on earth will you negotiate with other foreign companies to do business at a higher rate when you have indigenous company at a cheaper rate with a reliable service

Will you tell me that this same thing will happen if Airpeace belongs to Dangote

Airpeace Airline started international flights to UAE with two brand New Boeing 777 world best Aircraft makers and taking delivery of 13 brand new Aircraft this month making it 15 brand new Aircraft on their fleet... This is to show you they are capable of flying ✈️ all Nigerians in at any capacity....

This same government started their scam campaign of buy Nigeria to grow Naira but they are buying foreign to wreck naira because of their hatred on Igbos...

The more you hate Igbos in business aspects the more you wreck Nigeria economy because Nigeria economy has never and will never survive without the Igbos... #IGBO means business and you can't hate business and have flourishing economy... It's mission impossible!!! Our DNA is business take it or leave it

Quarantine is not easy at all. U have to be in a place for a period of time. No walking up and down. U have to be in ur own room for the period of d quarantine. U are not allowed to walk freely or mix up with other people at this stage. Mixing up might be too risky, Incase if any of them have the virus . The person will easily infect others. When they told u guys that u will be quarantined, were u thinking that u will have it all easy ? Pls endure and stay in ur rooms, though it can be traumatizing but that’s the way it should be. Thank God that u guys were kept in a good place like a hotel, so please manage what u were been given.
Two weeks is not far again, kpele.

Let these people be clear on this you have to adhere to the 14days quarantine rule and don't say you're negative . Follow the rules and even be glad they brought the army for your own safety.
Because I know many lagosians would be watching you all closely.

If they give them little chance to move around now, the next thing you would hear is 'some of the returnees have escaped from the isolation centers.' They should police them very well.
We no wan hear story.
