You should have known that you came from a zoological country where animals rule. This is a place where animals are giving good treatment. Where they can spend billions of naira to feed animals but they can not spend ten naira to feed humans.

Nigerians can't be satisfied.them force them to come back? Because they quarantine you for 2 weeks you begin to shout. If you are been treated like Kings and queens why did you decided to come back.
When they outside this country they will be gentle but when ever they come back home they start their usual arrogant lifestyle.
Nobody force you to come back.

To buttress your point, these guys were made to understand the fact that they will be isolated for 2 weeks,I wonder how someone in isolation still wants to be wandering around within the premises. It obvious they didn't get the clear picture.
Obviously they got the whole picture, the point is Nigerians who return from Abroad no matter the country of their resident have this attitude of forming Big boys /girls and will never respect common rules and instructions on arrival.

They should just shut up abeg. Just to stay in free hotel and eat free food for 14 days they are complaining. They should ask us how we were managing during the total lockdown. Ungrateful hearts!

They are in isolation; are they suppose to be strolling around?

Of course!

Thats how we roll here in Naija.

Ungrateful hearts, why you no stay there?

Lack of info is what is clearly your issue. I live in Dubai so I have first info about the country. I earn AED5,000 (N500,000) at my current job as jewellery store attendant while I have a friend who earns N8,500 (N850,000) as primary sch teacher and some even earn more per month. The only issue I have with that country is that u don’t get permanent residence or citizenship. Aside from that, u don’t compare a teller in dubai to a bank manager in Nigeria so u are not wrong for calling them Dubai VIPs.

You are a big Fool, because you are earning 500k now makes u a better Nigerian than others, your Nigeria mentality is still embedded in you, grow up. Everyone is equal before the law, that's how things are done in a sain society. Imagine, other people life should be compromised because you are earning 850k. When next you come back to Nigeria, I am sure you will tell your village king to stand-up for you to sit, because u are earning 500k. Yeye

Why are they complaining now is this not what they signed up for with the fed.govt before they were all allowed to board the plane to Nigeria?

You see how newspapers report news without balance
People are meant to self isolate now the government is assisting to ensure safety of the general public at the cost of our tax payers money yet they want to risk everyone because they came from abroad. So if they had let them go home that’s how they will go hug their families and walk around town because they know better. Nigerians were indoors for 5weeks. Imagine just 3days alone they are complaining. Do they even know when they leave that site and get home they ought to isolate further for their own families because do they even know the contact they have from there to their houses. Nigerians and over sabi everyone just has an opinion. I was even expecting to hear that some who are health professionals have offered to join the frontline after the quarantine no they want to stroll out

Some people are very wicked, if dis people have their way, they will move straight to homes and infect others.
I am confident there's Ac and constant electricity in that hotel, if there's national lockdown now, how many Nigeria's have houses with enough space to stroll?

This is not out of the norm, there is a 2 week strict quarantine period for new arrivals whether you tested positive or not, due to a 2 week incubation period the Covid-19 has.

After 2 weeks the strict restriction should be lifted according to protocol. It’s tough but I don’t think the govt is being harsh intentionally. Just my opinion anyway.

You are right, Bros.

The Govt is now doing exactly what they should have done late Feb immediately the 1st case was detected.

The returnees should keep quiet and stay there for 2 weeks. And it afterall one of the conditions for evacuating them back.

They however have a point if they say no Govt officials is engaging them there. Govt should do better here

Two weeks quarantine requirement is just to wait to see if the infected will start having symptoms. Unfortunately, many are asymptomatic, and never show signs of the disease throughout infection period.

The best thing to do is to repeat the test after a few days, 3-5 days, anyone infected will test positive to PCR test, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic. This should be standard. UK's isolation time is even one week.

We in Nigeria copy and do dumb things.
Oga that's your theory we can't take any more risk of releasing them to the society. They must complete their 14 days quarantine, people will just wake and start spilling their ideology as if that's what is obtainable generally, allow NCDC do their job base on their discretion and existing norm, they are licensed to do so.

Another ranting from people who think they are wise. they lodged you guys in a hotel, and you are still complaining. enjoy or hate the moment. you guys must complete your 14days incubation period before you can be allowed to mix with people. it is people like you guys who brought this suffering to Nigeria that even people who have not seen airport before ate dying for something they knew nothing about.

Yeah and you didn't men tion the fact that your living expenses in Dubai is way much higher than that of Nigeria.

I doubt if you live in a flat, maybe just a studio apartment, no real investment there.

5k Dubai dollars is just a stipend, that's why must of return empty handed despite the so called money you make, just like your sisters who go there for prostitition.

They should STU and mind their quarantine. If Naija had been doing this to all returnees we won't be suffering this Covid-19 by now.
