My brother house rent nor be beans oh! How can one pay $500 for house rent for 2 weeks when the person didn't go to work? Food and other bills are not there.

America is not like Nigeria where you can get house rent for #3000 and secondly, as there is Covid-19 issue. The government make provision for their citizens

That's probably why

See castigation! Not everybody wants to live abroad.

I for once have tasted both worlds but boredom nearly killed me in UK even when I did all I could to socialise.

Even as at now, I am not ready to trade off my freedom, comfort and prestige in Nigeria for so called money in UK

It's their choice and decision to come back home. They have their reasons and I'm sure they have been able to analyse the options they have before them before they choose to come back home.
Same with thousands of Nigerians that choose not to come home and stay in the United states.

In whatever decision they have made, I wish them the best of luck
GOD BLESS YOU

Just hustle to be rich.. When you're rich in Nigeria, you'll enjoy more than in abroad. You'll be like a demi god here, with lots of convoy, security personel, houses and cars. In abroad, you can't achieve such luxury. Our rich men like obasanjo, ibb, atiku and the rest even enjoy more than bill gates, Zuckerberg, ortega and the rest.
Your type dey make abroad look too easy while it's not so. U dey uk no really be achievement o, some of u guys over there no get shishi. Whereas some carpenters and mechanics here in naija live in their own houses.

And you just assumed I'm a guy.
Interesting...

Whatever the case..
I will remain in UK..Even if road side beggars own private jets in Nigeria.

Best way to avoid people silently labelling you a fool and a disreputable character in their heads is to never disparage your homeland before them but instead adopt the attitude that you travel for business, to experience how others live, for work, better quality of life etc. Never, ever heap insult on your motherland, this attitude impresses no one, gives you no brownie-points, does not improve your immigration status and will not solicit sympathy from the foreigner whose country you degrading yourself and homeland is a niggardly attempt at pleasing.

No one trusts a traitor.

Well,I may not have much here..But I'm doing better than many of my colleagues back home in Nigeria.
Relocating from Nigeria is the best thing I have ever done for myself and future .
Working as a doctor here will forever be more fulfilling then in Nigeria.

Whatever the case..
I will remain in UK..Even if road side beggars own private jets in una God forsaken Naija

We should remember that some Nigerians travelled to various countries around the globe for business or other purposes before the outbreak of coro. They never intended to stay back in those countries because they have business and/or family ties in Nigeria that require attention. The returnees are not those who are habitual residents, but Nigerians who travelled and intended to return home, but were stranded abroad. Not every Nigerian wants to live abroad and no one hustling in America will like to come back.
That's what most people here don't know. I have a work colleague that's presently trapped in the US. Not all returnees are immigrants

Nothing can make me return to Naija.

I rather die in this UK.

Na Poverty be your problem. It is simple. If you are rich, very rich, you will stay in Nigeria. If you are poor, nearly very poor, you should remain in UK to hustle until you are rich enough to return to Nigeria and settle.

The problem is that people like you will never be rich enough all through their life to be able to return to Naija. Hence you would rather die in the UK.

Almost all Naija very rich men lived in the West at one time or the other. Including about 70% of our politicians.

Nigerian Airways enko?

Even those small African countries have air carriers unlike the giant of Consumption, am ashamed of this country

Nothing to be ashamed of.

A national carrier is simply a thing of pride and in the Nigerian context another avenue for siphoning money.

Today, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, South African Airways etc. are all gasping for survival with BA alone retrenching 12000 workers .

Imagine such efficient airlines going bust then juxtapose that with the Nigerian mentality. What do you think will come out of it?

It is not a free ticket trip. They paid minimum of $1300 for a one way ticket home.

It doesn't matter which airlines the govt use. Foreign nationals or Returnees all pay for their respective flight tickets.

Nigerian govt negotiated good deals for the Returnees. Govt took advantage of the empty foreign airlines coming to Nigeria to evacuate their citizens. Give credit for once when deserving.
I don't appraise mediocrity
