So I was about 4 or 5 years old then. Before my mum gave birth to me she really went through a lot took her about 10 years after marriage before she could give birth to me. I'm the first child. Now I have siblings.

I remembered we both traveled to the village to visit my dad's elder sister. She's so loving n caring. So on the first night we spent there after we arrived, it was hell for me I could remember not being able to sleep because I kept seeing faces of cats all over the place and at the same time hear them making meow aounds. It was so loud. It was obvious I was the only one hearing it. It was terrible I cried all through the night and I could remember trying to tell my mum what I saw but couldn't speak at all.

The next morning she called my dad and told her I couldn't let her sleep all night my dad just told her we should both pack our bags and come back home. We were suppose to spend like a week or 2 there.

Another one, I think I was 12 years old then,I and my cousin's were playing outside, so I had the urge to pee, so I decided to go inside the house to use the bathroom, it was dark cuz NEPA just took light.

As soon as I finished urinating and was stepping out of the bathroom. I saw a big black cat with glowing eyes. Damn, I didn't even think twice I ran out of the bathroom I could hear my dad saying "who is that child running like that inside the house." I just stayed mute. Till today I still find it mysterious.


Another weird one, I was in my 200L then. Schooled in Ghana. So the school hostel is behind the apartment where I stay. About 30 mins walk to the hostel from my apartment. Usually, after lectures in school I normally join the hostel bus together with my friends to go to their hostel and I will stay with them till like 12am or 2am before leaving for my apartment

So, there was a day I left so late, was walking back home when I say a man naked taking his bath n saying some words as he bath. As soon as I saw that I just took a U-turn and went back to my friend's hostel to pass the night.

Another one, weird but funny. Was like 10yrs old then..So, there is this contractor that works at a site opposite my house then. He was friends with my parents cuz my dad is an engineer and the keys to the building is always with us so whenever a worker comes we give them the key to the their thing.

there was a day the contractor wasn't feeling too well. He didn't come to the site. So that day, my mum's friend came to visit us and said she came around to see one of her sick friend and asked me to escort her to the place.

When we got there, she told me to wait outside for her while she goes inside to see the man. While waiting outside, I decided to peep through the sides of the gate to see who the man was. Lo, and behold it was the contractor. I saw them kissing each other. I was shocked. She's a married woman I just couldn't understand if I was dreaming. I decided to keep quiet..
What's my business. I had a feeling to tell my mum but it was none of my business..so I kept it to myself.
It was really weird.

I have so many theories nd knowledge of the spiritual,I didn't gain it!it's just there in my head.... permit my questions?
(1)took ten years after marriage for your parents to have you,was there a baby before you that died/did your mom ever had a miscarriage before you came?
(2)was there a miscarriage after you,by how much are you older than your immediate sibling and is that your immediate sibling of opposite sex to you?

I went to all night programme getting there it was bored, i didn't feel as if i was in the presence of God, so i decided to returned back to the house. The time was about 2a.m . Since the church wasn't far from my house so i leave without any iota of fear in me.

As i was heading back to the house , my touch pointed at something, i didn't get the clearer picture of it, so i pointed at the the spot again. Gosh! what i saw was terrifying. Imagining you seeing a child of about two years old at such an odd hour of the night. i summoned up courage and walked to the spot the boy was standing, i thought maybe there was an adult close by, but i noticed there was nobody there. I was terribly frightened, goosebumps appears allover my body.

I pointed the touch at the boy's face, what happened give me the shocker of my life.

He hissed loudly

And a boy of that age to speak my local dialet, fluently was another shocker.

He said, you're lucky, i came to observe today, i didn't come to kill. After he said that, he walked away and entered one bush track i believe he came out from there.

Oh my! i stood there for almost 5minutes , i was so heavy, it seems the whole world has fallen on me. I regret leaving the church at such an hour.

It was so scary that anytime i remember that scenario, I'm always scared even up till now.

Though i reported the incident to my parents, my dad start telling stories about that very spot, and caution me very well never to try that again.

Demons exist, it's not a myth. let's becareful brothers and sisters. God will keep on protecting us.

Yea.. I have experienced this too but the last one that happened, I left my house and journeyed into a known environment that i have been in my dream state before... When I was done, i tried rushing back to my body so that my people won't declare me dead physically, someone kept preventing me from coming back, he went as far as cloning someone to 2 and gave me option to choose among the person that it would be my way out...

At that moment, I began to struggle both in my dream state and tried returning to my body, immediately i returned, i couldn't move my body, saw am image stooping near my room watching me struggle, i tried calling on God, i couldn't, tried calling out for help in my mind,still they couldn't let me... My only grace was those morning criers that normally preach early in the morning shouted 'In the mighty Name of Jesus' as she was about beginning to pray, i was let loose at the moment...

If these true then you must have other strangeness about you,maybe your birth or something!

In 2004, My mom took me out to go pee then i saw a ghost at the backyard. I was 11 then. I saw it but she didn't. This wasn't some typa hallucinations I saw it for real all in a white gown with a scarf on. Maybe it just wanted me to see it, cos that's what some do especially when they wanna scare you. But I hear some show themselves if they wanna deliver a message. And some appear to people who doubt their existence. But I haven't seen one for a long time now until recently. I think I have lost the gift cos this last one I saw too was out of curiosity. I so wanted to know what was going around on my window, if I had brought down the curtains it would have passed and not show itself . And I'm dead sure this one wasn't a ghost but some typa witch/wizard. I think I have lost the gift of seeing ghosts and ghouls. Maybe it's because I started telling people. Well i'm so glad it's gone cos there's no soul on earth that'd wish to see a ghoul. See a ghost? Better, but a ghoul? No No No!


And No I'm not suffering from schizophrenia

absolutely nothing,just that people kinda fear what they don't completely comprehend.

Me and my parent went for vigil i was about 12 years old. We got to church and i saw a man carrying a baby on his shoulder what suprised me is that the baby didnt have a human head the baby face was that of a demon, immediately i saw it i closed my eyes for some seconds and open it again when i then looked at the baby again the head turned back to normal. Till today i didnt tell a soul except on nairaland

wen I was little I always had dis 2 weird dream.i don't if anyone else had dat kind of dream

1st dream, I will be in my room doing something with my siblings. I don't kw wat will just push me to go look at our passage,but wen I do it will look like d passage is drawing or sucking me in.nd I will always struggle to hold d wall but can't. den I wake up

2nd dream is Abt falling. I will just see myself on a plane or on a top of a high hill. d nxt Tin I will jump off and start falling ND falling. den I wake up ND start having serious headache.

1.Back then in school, I was reading till 2pm, I forgot to switch of the lights and lock my door, I fell asleep only to wake up some few minutes seeing footsteps getting out of my room, I ran outside to see who it was, I didn't find anyone neither could I even find me phone, I was happy it's just a petty thief and not a killer, couldn't tell anyone cos it's my fault I forgot to lock the door
2.myself and my roommate visited our female friend, we just slept over at her place only for me to wake up seeing them making love, I couldn't say anything lol, I just pretended I was sleeping, though I couldn't sleep again.

I am really surprised that you were able to place one and one together ..... I don't have any gain lying about this things, yea, something strange happened during the course of my pregnancy journey and the day of my birth so said my mom.. I also have a journal for all the weird occurrences in my life... But believe me, i am tired of talking about it because people end up saying i am crazy

When we were little, we were playing in & around an old car parked in an overgrown area of a neighbour's backyard. I was standing outside of the car, scared to go in because we were warned by the adults that there could be snakes in there. But my cousin wanted to go in & I guess the other kids didn't want him to because one of them slammed the car door on his hand, severing his finger in half. I will never forget seeing the severed bit of his finger jumping around on the floor like a little frog. It was so frightening, I literally fell back just to put some distance between myself & the "dancing finger".
My cousin was taken to hospital, but unfortunately, it was too late to reattach the finger, so he had to live with it.

1.. there was no baby before me and I'm not sure if she had any miscarriage during those difficult times. Never asked her tho.

2. I don't know if there was a miscarriage after she had me.. never asked. I'm 7 years older than my immediate sibling and it's of opposite sex. I have 3 siblings. One boy and two girls.

It's very real, trust me. He even passed out looking at it himself, possibly from shock, blood loss or both.

I had another from my childhood, then I was the youngest in the house, so I was allowed to sleep in my parent's room.

The way the house was built then, You could view part of the common area from the room.
There was this day I woke up in the middle of the night and I saw something like an elephant walking in the living room(Fear gripped me, childhood imaginations I guess) .

Another one was when I was about 6 years old, my elder brothers(both 16 and 15 years older than me) usually force us to sleep early because iTV and other stations show movies in the night. But as a sharp guy, I'll always go to bed earlier so that I can wake up late to watch movies while pretending I was still asleep(We do sleep in the living room then). That was how this particular day, I was tryna make the same move but this time I woke up facing the TV, but something just moved me to look back and I saw 3
white ghost with crowns that acted like they wanted to grab me. I didn't shout, I just resumed my sleep jejely. I still think these are just imaginations, but apparently the apartment we're living in had two rooms but we're staying in just one because the man that built the compound was buried in one of the rooms.

While I was asleep, I heard someone talking, yes I felt the presence of someone around. The person then opened the door and walked to my head area(I usually sleep backing the door because I love facing the AC). He was so close to my head area and this experience was super real that I could barely tell if it's a dream. But the moment I gather the momentum to get up, everything just dissolves.

I also had another experience like this while I was living in an Airbnb apartment but the most recent one that happens today made me start giving thoughts to it because of the reoccurrence.
Then I stumbled on this post.

I'm currently in a new apartment I rented less than a month ago but I've gotten this trance-like experience twice, first one was with the groceries I bought from spar before the lockdown, I think I was just tired that day I left them in my kitchen inside the polybag, but something was playing with it(wasn't a rat, wasn't roaches) but the moment I decided I want to get up, it just stops.

Today's own, shit I can't remember anymore(will edit once I do) but I felt the presence of something or someone it felt like I was been starred at.

I don't interpret it as anything yet, but what puzzles me is the reoccurrence of this experience and fact that it felt so real that even inside the experience I'll question whether it's a dream.

I made little research on this, and I'm curious about how I can experience it more or utilize this state, I think this is similar to the state Doctor strange goes into where he reads books while he sleeps.
The first thing I'm going to do after I confirm that it's not reality is jumping off my balcony (some one actually said he does that on Quora)

Came out of my room..As I was passing by the staircase that leads to the first floor, I saw some ladies plaiting hair on the staircase, they were gisting and laughing. I just assumed they were housemates since I was new and wasn't familiar with everyone that lived there. I greeted them and passed, they didn't respond.

On my way back to the room, I saw them again, they were quiet.

Following morning, I asked someone who lives on my floor why ladies would be making their hair on the staircase at past 1am. He said he would go downstairs and ask. I gave him the description of the ladies I saw. Later in the day, he came to tell me there were no such girls downstairs, I argued with him endlessly. So he asked me to follow him downstairs to check out the ladies.... Lo and Behold, none of the 'women' fit the description of what I saw. Though I was still skeptical and still hoped I would see those ladies. I did not see anything ooo..

Since that day ehn, once day don dark.... I don shapaly enter my room!!

Mine was I was in a dark room with my senior brother, we were a whole lot younger then. And it was just the two of us at home.

So my uncle horned with his car because he needed someone to come out and open the gate for him.

My senior bro left me in the dark room all by myself lying on the bed. I wasn't really bothered, but immediately he left, I could feel someone's hand on the bed trying to touch me, I had to slide to the extreme with so much fright, I was praying asf. But the hand won't just stop hitting the bed. You know that moment when you are lying down, and someone hits the bed and you know someone did, because you could feel it and at the same time hear it.

Then my uncle car drove in and the car light shone through the passage, and the light reflected in my room, now I could see clearly but didn't see anything, I ran out with utmost speed. Though, my mom died early, so I felt maybe there was a connection.

I told my senior bro, he told me I should stop staying in a dark room, I should have left with him. Till date everyone in my family doesn't sleep without flashlight, but me I keep my phone close each time I sleep when there isn't electricity. Not because of that incident though, just an advise my dad always give, because of the experiences he has had, growing up in the east back then, "never sleep without a flashlight".

I did expect that you wouldn't be able to provide answer to the 1st question reason why I put the 2nd,you being 7years older than your immediate opposite sex sibling conforms to my theory(must be 3years+),a few more questions for you...
(1)have you ever had a dream about something and it came to pass later,you might have neglected it
(2)is there anybody you know or met that has these no 1 characteristic,maybe your mom, female sibling or a friend
(3)without bribing or illegal runs,do you sometimes fail to get what you want or wish for,like you have to try many times to see result/get it

It's could actually be group of witches u saw having a meeting or just random occurrence..

About 10 years ago in Lagos, my mum came back from work and sent me on an errand to get somethings from the street directly opposite our compound and it had just rained heavily that evening. I carried the torch and went out as I walked into the small street which is opposite our house , I had a strange feeling but I kept walking while I kept pointing the torch into the grass on the sides of the street as I walked .I saw the weirdest thing ever, I saw a lady on white laying down on the grass with her face to the sky and the rain drops falling on her, her eyes was closed . I couldn’t take a deep look, I just ran off to buy whatever, on my way back minutes later I checked again and she wasn’t there. I couldn’t tell my mum cos she would think I didn’t want to go out to run the errand.

Another one
When I was small about 7 or 8 years old , We were staying in a compound that had 2 flats up and 4 rooms/parlor down. The house was very beautiful but the toilet and bathroom was at the end of the passage. My parents don’t keep a peeing bucket inside the house like our Yoruba neighbors do so whenever anyone is pressed at night you gat to go down to the toilet to do the do. Since i was the smallie, my dad usually take me out to pee in the toilet in the midnight. On this particular night I was pretty pressed and I went to my dad in the room and I tapped him that I wanted to pee. My dad with his sleepy eyes told me to go towards the door that he was coming behind me. I got to the door and called him and he still kept on saying he was coming but he didn’t leave the bed.
The pee was almost coming out so I quickly opened the door and stepped into the passage. There was Nepa light and i looked to the left, I saw it was a long walk to the toilet at the end of the passage so I decided to go right which let to the varenda and the outer compound space.
I got to the varenda and decided to survey the compound that midnight and as I stared directly at the gate , I saw a woman with a black cloak . I relaxed on the railing and I kept on staring at the woman and she kept staring back. I wasn’t scared at all, she kept staring till she turned into a cat and ran down to the end of the compound. Immediately I continued my journey to the gutter to urinate and walked back without fear back to sleep. I didn’t tell my parents till today

Another one

My mum step brother came to visit us in that same compound that I mentioned above, my mum’s younger brother brought him to know our house since he just came to Lagos. After the meet and greet they had a delicious meal and then they both left to my mum’s younger brothers house where he would be staying. Every night my sibling and I do sleep in the parlour since we stayed in a 2 rooms apartment back then. In the midnight of that day when my step uncle came to visit, I woke up that midnight and I saw my step uncle sitting on a chair in the parlor directly opposite where my siblings and I were sleeping. I though he spent the night with us so I slept off. In the morning, my immediate elder bro went to ask my mum where our step uncle went to, my mum said he went with her other brother to his house. My brother argued that he saw him in the parlor at midnight, my mum laughed. He kept insisting and that moment my mum knew he wasn’t joking.I quickly chipped in that I saw him too but no one took me serious. Las las he was taken to a church for serious prayers and 3 days dry fasting and I really thank God that they doubted my claims hence I wasn’t part of the fast.
