Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to the action taken by the Governor of Rivers State, Wike on demolishing hotels with the claim that they broke the lock down order in the state.

She said "Power in the hands of person without self-discipline in the absence of social accountability creates monters in any society. Lord Action will forever be right. Absolute power corrupts absolutely"

"I have seen enough flagrant abuse of power among our political class to know that both they and citizens are enamoured of the unaccountable governance style of the inglorious military era. Such arrogance of power against citizens because of temporary title"

The hotel owners crime seems to escape everybody's notice. They broke the lockdown order. You don't spit on a Governors face and get away with it. He decided to make an example of them.

History have a place for despots like Wike. We've seen many like him come and go, and how they end up. His unceasing insolent leadership style is an indication of self-annihilation. There is a saying that goes thus: " A dog destined to loose his life never listens to its owner's whistling calls". Another says: " When a toad is ready to die, he will ask that he be taken to a running river to swim". Only time will tell.

I remember how I used to respect this woman during her days as Madam Due Process.

At this moment, only a few takes Oby serious even now that she said something right.

No one can b judge over his own case, if the hotel owner violet the lockdown law, arrest and charge him to court. His action contra-vain law against fundamental human right.

Initially, I thought it was just a mere threat to infuse fear and foster strict compliance to his so called executive order until I learned the threat was actually executed. then my respect for him diminished like a water poured in a basket. the law needs to teach Wike a lesson he will never forget in a hurry.

Wike makes me remember the story of the wicked king that took over his subject wife for his personal gains!!I believe Madam is on point on this one !!
