As long as those places too have government presence in terms of amenities and you can take a bus or so to Ontario to work. Is that so? |

Hey Guys, its been a while. I have been off for a while just to concentrate on work. By the way, i have made my Savings target. I actually hit 20k savings on the 15th of July, three and half months from when i started. I withdrew everything as cash and gave wifey to hold, so that i can start saving again. To be honest, this pandemic actually helped, cos there was no place to spend the money. |

atutupoyoyo2211:Welcome back. I was wondering whether na wind of life carry you go. Congratulations and thanks for giving those of us hopeful immigrants a realistic picture of life in Canada. You were not too negative neither did you paint a picture of life being like heaven. Have you changed jobs now? |

Honestly it was anger that made me remove that money from the bank. I wanted to make a withdrawal of 10k and the bank started asking me useless questions as if the money is not my own. Even asking me why i was withdrawing it. And the funny thing is that, this same bank did not see anything suspicious when someone walked in one of their branches in BC about a month ago, cancelled my bank card, opened a new bank card and spent almost $5k of my money in 36hours. They didnt even notice it until i called them to block my account. After investigating, they called me and apologized saying it was bank error. Now tell me, how is it bank error when someone, walks into a branch, cancels your card, opens a new card and then makes an atm withdrawal of $900, then 300, then 400, from the same atm in the bank premises, and then goes on a spending spree to almost $5000, and they didnt see anything suspicious in that. The funny thing was that an hour before the person cancelled my card i made a transaction in a different province. for example, how can someone make an atm withdrawal in Halifax and then one hour later come to a bank branch in Vancouver to cancel the same card? | Re: My Monthly Savings In Canada by atutupoyoyo2211(op): 6:45pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
They refunded it. It was when it was refunded they told me it was bank error. I guess they didnt want me to sue. Cos it was their customer care that told me what happened at the bank branch. Brightfab: |
