Oh! So you think Keshi's achievements were fluke? You are oblivious of how he was frustrated during his tenure that made us unable to qualify for the following nation's cup.

You're mentioning 5 million Naira as if it's a big amount, why can't the NFF pay a local coach $50,000, let's see how they'd perform?

Keshi wasn't perfect, he had his faults, I was against his selections too, but that man equaled Westerhoff's record, something Rohr is yet to do.

And till today, he's to take bulk of the blame for our loss against Argentina at the last WC.

Mind you Rohr is paying his three Assistants out of the 50,000 dollars... Also he has been accepting pay cut since the inception of the pandemic.

How many Nigeria coach can do so?

Pay the Nigerian coaches $50,000 first. Are you forgetting that Sunday Oliseh was using his personal money to feed Super Eagles CHAN players in camp because of no money? During the Olympics, before the arrival of Mikel and Ekong, Samson Siasia was using his own personal money to support the Welfare of the team in camp due to no funding.

English Premier League club Chelsea have reportedly firmed up their interest in signing Nigeria international Victor Osimhen.

According to Abdellah Boulma via Le 10 Sport, the leadership of Lille have received an offer from Chelsea for Osimhen but the 85 million euros transfer fee being bandied in the media is erroneous and largely overestimated.

Allnigeriasoccer.com had exclusively reported that the French Ligue 1 club did not receive any offer worth 85 million euros from a mysterious club, with Osimhen insisting that he was in the dark over the bid and surprised to see that the rumour went viral on social media.

Osimhen showed off his goalscoring quality when Lille faced off with Chelsea on matchday two in this season's Champions League, scoring through a powerful header in the first half.

All signs point towards the 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner moving to the Premier League or La Liga if he quits Lille in the upcoming transfer window.

The 21-year-old has been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Sevilla in Spain, while Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been mentioned as possible destinations in England.

Funny enough, you belong to the same class @ the bolded..

Were you not the same person throwing criticism and insults at the players and Rohe himself during the AFCON..

I blamed Rohr's tactics but never called for his sack or even asked that a Local coach take over. That would have been a big mistake

He won the CAF Cup Winners cup and was nominated for the African Player of the year twice. And by the way when he played African players barely played in Europe. So it's very unfair to use that against him really. And also less qualifying slots were available to African countries at the world cup(I think about one or two). He's still one of Nigeria's greatest player and after so many years he's the second highest goal scorer for the national team. He might not be saying the right things but please Don't undermine his achievements

I'll engage you on this.

Segun paid his dues. Okay, no debating that. But that doesn't give him the right to impugn on the achievements of Rohr and his players. I criticized Rohr during the EC and the last AFCON. And my criticisms were merited. I don't resort to attacking the coach/player personally like Segun does. If you note, I warned against the inclusion of Mikel in the last AFCON and many unintelligent people here assumed I had a personal grudge against him but I turned out to be right at the end of the day.

Yes, Segun didn't feature or qualify for the WC and thus should keep quiet. You hardly hear Cantona criticize France's National Team coach of today even though he never got selected(which is different from Segun's case).

Continue to broadcast and cry more more because it won't change the local champion status of Segun Odegbami.

Don't mind them. They want the likes of Segun Odegbami and his local champions to take over the running of the team. People that have selfish motives in their attacks against Rohr.

During Odegbami era,our football was largely concentrated on the local scene. European club football didn't gain much attention in Nigeria until the 1990s..Also back then, our league was more organized...A large chunk of our national team players if not all were playing in the local league...The same goes for the rest of Africa...

All this ur attack on Odegbami are unnecessary..the man remains a legend... Till today, some of those players who have played in the European league have yet to match his records in the national team.. That shows just how good he was! .

Attack the message not the messager

Bro, Segun Odegbami supposed take this your advice because that is what he has been doing.

It will be ungrateful not to defend Rohr after all he has done. Rohr has tried for us and I can't stomach when a local champion that never played in Europe maligns his hardwork

the only special thing keshi did was to win the AFCON thats all
rohr qualified for the AFCON and FIFA
won bronze at the AFCON
rohr achieved what keshi did not during his time
rohr is building a team that can compete in the future
how many keshi players are in super eagles today ?
coz of the ogbanje that he took he was unable to build a great team for the future for Nigeria
it only AFCON that is blinding you from his mistake
Broda !!!!!
Mr keshiii issa big failure
rohr collect $50K despite paying all his four assistants with his own money and going on visation to see the player regularly
this can be seen where he went to Norway to see aremu france to see Kalu and maja Russia to see musa england to see iwobi nacho and ndidi (lemme stop here )
frankly speaking rohr has justified his $50k

U failed to post that Keshi got into 2nd round with his team. Got Togo to qualify for their only world cup appearance so far who knows may for the next 20 years too cheesy

Were his selections questionable, absolutely they were but somehow he won afcon, qualified for world cup, made 2nd round of world cup as well. Keshi brought d Ekong we see today into d NA, Balogun and Omeruo as well. Just stating the facts sir.

Segun is a legend

So rightly so

22 goals in the gwg is no beans but let's know there is a line between realism and hatred

What's doing Odegbami is Hatred and the fact he retired 10 years before i was born doesn't change the fact

Mental slavery works in two ways
If you think a white man is superior than you, that's slavery
If you think a white man is only favored because of his skin, that's slavery as well

Rohr took a Super eagles team rated outside the top 5 in Africa and having failed to quality for two previous AFCON

Coached them to qualify to the worldcup with a game to spare in a group that contains Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia

Took a relatively inexperienced side to 3rd place in the AFCON

Narrowly lost out of knockout phase in the worldcup having played Iceland(topped their qualifying group) Croatia and Argentina

But No
He is only hyped because he is white

Give a Local coach 50,000$ a month and he might not do half what Rohr did

Odegbami might be a legend but what's he is saying belongs to the beer parlour
