Re: Okpanam Killings: Ohanaeze Moves Against Reprisal Attacks On Igbos In North by eldoradoxx: 8:08am On May 15, 2020 |
Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, the man that murdered Alhaji Ahmadu Bello in the 1966 coup was from Okpanam. Okpanam people claim they are not Igbos yet Igbo people got massacred in the civil war for a coup led by Nzeogwu. Today Ohaneze has dabbled into another Okpanam crisis rather than leave them to the fate of impending Fulani massacre. 18 Likes 1 Share |

All the Nairaland historians will be quiet now but tomorrow they will come to tell you how there are no Igbos in Delta State. No matter how long lies travel, truth will catch up. I hope the Ikwere champions are listening. 9 Likes |

One thing that make most so called Niger Delta foolish is the fact that because of crude oil and the deceitful chants they get from their confirmed enemies in the person of Yorubas and the North, they are always quick to say they are not Igbos but whenever crises erupts in the North, Hausa-Fulanis tag them Igbo and kill them along with Igbos. And Igbos always pay the price of Niger Delta atrocity since 1966. Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu a young military officer from this same Okpanam in today Delta State organized a coup and killed many northern leaders, Igbos didn't deny him or say he is Delta Igbo or Niger Delta, Igbos stood by him and got killed in thousands in the northern pogrom because of Nzeogwu's atrocity of 1966 coup which also led to Biafra-Nigeria 3yr bloody civil war, Igbos never deserted Nzeogwu, but some so called Niger Delta people who think they are wise refused to join Igbos to fight the evil they created when the war broke out, instead they aligned with their confirmed hater and enemies from Yoruba to Hausa-Fulanis, it is well. I don't know we Igbos just love taking bullets for others, honestly I don't know why, it seems to be in our DNA....look at how Igbos have been defending and fighting for Goodluck Jonathan since 2015, even Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala but Yorubas will come online to tell Niger Delta people that Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is not Igbo but Niger Delta but they are the same people that have been screaming for Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's head to be cut off it not for Igbos standing for her and Goodluck. My anger is not with the Yorubas or Hausa-Fulanis but with Niger Delta people who allow themselves to be deceived by their true enemies 15 Likes 1 Share |

The flatheaded cowards would make it a yoruba issue now, I wonder why they just can't face their master in the north without dragging yoruba into their foolishness. So they actually went to beg fulani not to retaliate? Stupid cowards 13 Likes 2 Shares

Phonematters: Ask your Igbo wanderers, sojourners and settlers who can't and won't stay in their regions... Such reports bespeak lack of dignity and self respect among the Igbo nation... A set of individuals from the North will do nonsense and anyhow in the South, including East, and your people are not allowed to retaliate, all because you have investments in the North... The Fulanis in Edo State are friendly and peace-loving. They go about the business of etching out a living for themselves. However, there are some terrorist groups in the forest, probably foreigners who kill our people for no justifiable reason. These have a hidden agenda which I believe is an organised front. The man at the top seems to be silent on the issue. God dey o 4 Likes 2 Shares |

This Ohaneze Youths are bunch of COWARDS. Fulani killed 2 of your young men and at same time your are begging Arewa youths not to retaliate. Retaliate what? I just don't know when the renowned Eastern youths that engaged the entire Nigeria in a three ( 3 )years brutal war lost their fear factor. You lost 2 lives, no Fulani life lost in the so called aggression yet you are on the begging side. Cowards die a million times before their actual death. I curse this OYC balless fools. When we fight we can settle all later, if we can't settle it is also even better as we can better be neighbouring countries than house-hold enemy compatriots. Jobless busy bodies What is the business of Ohanaeze with minor alleged reprisal attack that Okpanam youth carried out against Fulanis over the Fulani alleged killing of Okpanam vigilante chairman and secretary ? What were they doing before the Fulanis attcked and killed the duo and other people in the community ? What action did they take to placate Okpanam people or help them get justice when the Fulanis killed the people ? Why wait till after the youths showed a form of revenge before trying to placate the Fulanis ? 3 Likes |

so how is this country a sovereign nation? A country that the central govt is just a mere figure head in a sane country, the president would have ordered the IGP to visit the affected community and invite the host leaders and Fulani for a reconciliation meeting to curtail future incident. in 2020, we are still having ethnicity fight and we called ourselves Nigerian? is this not a big shame to be called Nigerians when there is nothing Nigerians about our divisiveness let's continue lying to ourselves, so Arewa youths owned it to take law into their land by killing innocents people in their domain? I thought this foolishness had long stop 4 Likes |
