The first time I saw that post, I just said this man don buy market and surely he did buy market.

Social media is really an amplifier which requires maturity to navigate it.

It’s not a place to brag about your stupidity because you will meet your match.

He should enjoy his days in prison because I don’t see how he will wriggle his way out of this

Will the 500k be given to the wife? If NO, then the woman has been defrauded. She was beaten, and police were enriched.
She need to charge both her husband and NPF

I'm sure the wife will join to pay that bail, that judgment was not fair enough, it may be repeated. Strokes should have been added and community service to work with lawma 3months.

buygala:

Nobody is paying 500k...

The person taking him on bail just needs to show the court that he has 500k in his bank account, and is willing to forfeit same to the court if the accused person absconds...

As long as the man appears for his trial, not even a dime will leave his surety's account
He would pay the 500k before been released only his sureties with like sum won't pay the money, only if he absconded

AreaFada2:

It depends on the jurisdiction. You will still need the lady to corroborate the story. What if she says it wasn't her hubby who beat her up and the man also withdraws the statement online? In some jurisdictions, a spouse cannot be compelled to be a witness in a case against their spouse, unless they have brought the case against own spouse.
like I said earlier ...he can't withdraw that statement.. Something that was on facebook and he also claimed to be responsible... See the case is water tight. He is in for a big trouble

If I were the judge o I'll just instruct the police to flog him 111 time and he must post the video of his flogging on his Facebook with caption. "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO WIFE BEATER " .
