Have we heard the mans side of the story on why he beat he's wife?
Women are known to very useless these days.
whatever is the other side of the story doesn't justify the man's action

This is ridiculous
It's not the first time just like his friend said. I think he deserves more to the bail term.
Re: Man Who Posted Wife’s Battered Face On Facebook Arraigned, Granted N500,000 Bail by AureliusWolf: 7:13pm On May 16, 2020
He even pleaded "not guilty"... After doing the deed, snapping and posting it online, even bragged with it... he should at least be remanded in prison for sometime and frustrate his bail conditions.
He's unremorseful which means he's even capable of killing her and posting it online, the man clearly has mental issues.

hmm!

Wrong decision! why granting him bail.

Our Judges are only interested in money and not justice
.....are you suggesting they lock him up for life or sentence him to death?

The guy will be sure regretting now, Where will his broke ass get that kind of money? This is why I don't get angry, it comes with a lot of price, the day army man slapped me in owerri, I would have beaten him to death, if not that I was a Christian
The bold is true
There is no advantage to anger at all
Always leave's one with regrets

If the woman forgives him and moves back with him, then she doesn't know herself. Know thyself

You're ignorant. So you think the 500k will be given to the judge? What you don't know is that the man need not have 500k to meet the bail conditions.

The deed has been done. The man knows there is the law. Even the wife needs the husband back.

This is a clean mad man, no matter the offense never lay your hand on a woman, just walk away. Anyone that can control there anger is saving him/her selves from so many dangers.

Verbal abuse is a crime too and can do a whole lot of damaging. We all just keep focusing on physical abuse without tackling verbal abuse.

Feminists are trying to destroy marriage in Nigeria as they did elsewhere.
They should settle as husband and wife no magistrate or judge can restrain the man if he decides he will no longer marry the woman.Only thing the woman can argue is child support ,custody and alimony
Destroy your husband and you destroy your marriage.

The offence which he is charged with is a bailable one. And be it know to you today that sum of money is not be payed instantly in the court before he leaves but will be payed by the dirty if the man jumps bail

It's the tariff legally attached to the crime. It allows bail, as the sentence is likely to be little if found guilty.

Domestic battery is only just being taken a bit seriously now. Since many legislators are likely women batterers like the senator that beat up a sex shopkeeper, our laws are way behind. Just 20 years ago many would have said "good job, show her you are the man". Judges' hands are tied.

The inlaws will soon pressure the lady to try kill the case "because of the children". shocked shocked

its not a bad judgement, its part of legal process. some crimes have option of fine. the fine may serve as a lesson to him especially if he doesn't have that amount of savings... to gather that amount from family and friends if he doesn't have it, in conjunction with the shame and difficulty in finding a surety owing to the kind if crime; all these will definitely humble him. he will think twice before hitting the woman again

If I was him,I'll pay the 500k and still beat her again.
That way the judge will realize that granting me bail was a mistake..
he does not even have the resources for bail... His total bail is #1.5million...because two sureties are to pay #500000 each.
