Working against the south is what southwest knows how to do it better... Example is what happened in 2015.
What about 2011?

Whatever. Do people like you ever read the mood of the nation or is it just to automatically blame Yorubas for everything as your parents teach you to do?

Even if Yorubas abstain from the 2023 Presidential race, the powers-that-be everywhere would still not be comfortable with an Igbo as President.

You Igbos should first focus on this before pinning all blame on Yorubas for your expected failure to produce the 2023 President of Nigeria.

Unwritten rule, you get sense at all? When Yaradua passed on, did you allow a Northerner complete his tenure. So that the unwritten rule can continue?

How in hell did you expect the Presidency to be given to the SE? so the SW that sacrificed everything should siddon look Abi...? Let PDP zone the presidency to SE.

What you r actually looking for here is the Presidency to be handed over to you like a plate of akpu, after burning all political bridges....una go get sense Las Las...

Indeed. Igbo and Political Blackmail, after deliberately burning bridges, are 5 and 6.

After calling APC ewedu and Boko Haram party, you want the same party to give you it's presidential ticket. Have you forgotten APC is an Islamic party and their agenda is to islamitize Nigeria?

With the way igbos insult the Yorubas and Hausas on social media (we have the screenshot of the insults and we are ready to use it against igbos anytime), no sensible Yoruba or Hausa will vote for them or love them in return. You can't spread hate and expect people to love you in return, it doesn't work like that.

Millions of SE can't sabotage SW presidency come 2023. And for your information, Yorubas don't need your support.

Not so long ago, people were criticizing the South-East for not voting for Buhari, and now you're criticizing us for supposedly voting for Buhari. Last I checked, it was the SW vote that brought Buhari to power, TWICE.
Yet you don't want the south west to reap the fruits of their labour rather you want to reap where you didn't not show....if you people CANNOT impress it on the party you've consistently voted for 21 years to zone the slot to the south east then you should know it's time you change your politics.... Have you forgotten so soon how obj never won any election in his polling unit? (In fact the first time he was able to deliver his polling unit was in 2015when he had sympathy for APC).......obj wasnt the south west choice for president but the east and north made sure he ruled for 8 years, the south west rather than be complaining worked hard from the opposition till now that it their chance to produce an acceptable yorubaman as president you are here saying this

There is an unwritten rule in Nigerian politics that power should rotate between the North and South every 8 years, for the sake of equity and fairness. No sooner had Buhari won his second term than the political calculations of 2023 started.

While most people in Southern Nigeria believe that power should move to the South after Buhari would have concluded his 8 years in 2023, the question is which of three zones in the South, SW/SE/SS, should it go to?

If equity and fairness is why the Presidency should come down to the South in 2023 then the SW has no business producing the President that year!

The South West have had their 8 years with Obasanjo, the SS have had 4 years with Jonathan while the SE has not had a shot at it yet. Since the SW have had their 8 years in this democratic dispensation, it is only fair that when the Presidency rotates to the South in 2023, it should either go the SS, to enable them complete their 8 years, or go to the SE who have not had it at all

If the SW insist on taking a shot at the Presidency in 2023, then it means that fairness and equity does not mean anything to them. Therefore, the SE/SS should work against the SW producing the President, even if it means power staying in the North.

To support SW Presidency in 2023 will amount to giving the the SW a 'third term' when the other two zones in the South are yet to equal the two terms the SW have already had.

The SE/SS should say NO to a 2023 SW Presidency! If the SW insists on cheating the rest of the South in 2023, then let the whole South be cheated!

Why dont the SE compete fairly for the slot in the PDP and in APC

Just like Ekwueme competed with OBJ when the slot came to the south and was soundly beaten

The same SE that always want to compete for everything is now afraid to compete for this

Go and meet the PDP and tell them to give you the Presidency for supporting the party for the past 21yrs

Mr man, if you like shout make your vocal cord burst. The Ibos and us in the SS are not a sparing a single vote for you yorubas in 2023.

You yorubas should should start learning how invoke your dead ancestors to come vote for you on that day.

I kukuma trust north in APC, they'll do everything to hijack that ticket from yoruba, while you cry about Amotekun and UNPO. In PDP, you have almost no say.

A yoruba president is no longer feasible in the next 200 years. Yorubas are the least qualified southerners to be president. You've taken your share, you must give way for other southerners.

It's a microcosm of what will play out on the ground. OP is just the usual naive and sentimental Igbo.

I doubt any Igbo candidate will contest APC and PDP Primaries let alone stand a chance of winning.

SE should do what they deem right. They should all support the North in 2023 and let’s meet at the polls.

The difference between Yorubas and the Igbos is that the Yorubas will make sure to bargain with the North this time around and we will make sure that we don’t lose that alliance no matter what.

We will not follow the doorstep of the political miscalculation of the great Awolowo where Baba had to antagonize the North which made the Yorubas the region with the longest time in opposition politics in Nigeria history.

You Igbos should hear this, The time for political correctness is past and you should stop terming the Yorubas your fellow southerner. We are not brothers and will never be, because the past and recent events have clearly showed the Igbos are more enemy to the Yorubas than the Hausa North.

I prefer we ally with the North politically than allying with the Igbos. That is what exactly we will do in 2023, so you can all go to hell with your 5% votes.

As for the SS, they should do what is in their interest too and vote anyone where they think their right will be protected.

The SE should not do this, the north cant keep power for another 8years. Power must return south no matter who gets it, a lot of things are going on under Buhari and Apc that a lot of us from the south are not aware only when a southern leader gets into power that those things can be corrected.

If north hangs on to power for another 8years forget it

While Not
Are ever going to go against your slave master
Hell No
But one thing I am sure, Hausas will not mind to return the power to Igbos than South West. This your by force alignment with the Hausas will not work, they don't like you and will never. Just stay close to them and see how they see you guys as potential slaves. They will even tell you that their only match in Nigeria is Igbo.
Keep aligning while they keep advancing into your territory.

Lagos is partly no longer Yoruba State because it is just a matter of time before either Igbos in Ojo, Amuwo Odofin or Hausas in Agege will produce the next Governor of Lagos State.
