LukasPodolski: So you guys actually think that the SS and SE will watch the SW clinch what will be their 'third term' when the other two zones either had one term or not at all. How did you people think the SS or SE would support this blatant cheating? In 2023, everyone including the North will go for the Presidency and we shall see if all the votes in SW can make them President. 1 Like |

You guys approach purely political issues from emotional views. 1) The emergence of the APC as a major political party in 2013 has made it difficult for PDP zoning formula to automatically work all the time. 2) No political party willingly field a candidate that will be easy to defeat. The APC knows that fielding an Igbo candidate will make it very easy for the PDP to defeat it come 2023. This is NOT because of the Yorubas . 3) Even if no Yoruba contest for the Presidency in 2023, an Igbo candidate will still not win the presidential election. manuelreports: 9 Likes 1 Share |

gidgiddy:It's illogical to attach the failed SE with Prosperous SS. Now let's me agree with your attachee by force Buhari won flawlessly without the support of SS/SE. By 2023 Why do you think SS/SE joint force will stop : 80% of SW (half of this alone will cover your useless 5% in SE) 65% of NW 60% of NE 50% of NC By now you should know that your opinion is trashy. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

You don't seems to understand the politics of Presidential elections. 1) You have to win the presidential primaries of your party before getting their ticket. 2) An Igbo candidate MUST defeat other contestants before getting the presidential election. 3) Right now, there is no front line Igbo candidates in the presidential race for both APC and PDP tickets ,so how can you win if you don't contest? #Stop blaming the Yorubas for the political woes of the Igbos for a day and ponder on this facts. gidgiddy: 10 Likes 2 Shares |

gidgiddy:Dude I've been observing you for a while now, and as a fellow Igbo man I have to caution you to stop been overtly EMOTIONAL, sometimes there's profound wisdom in keeping quiet and strategizing... You talk too much, na you dey bring unnecessary insults to the Igbo camp with the stupid and needless emotional-laden threads you open sometimes. For once it's already an established fact at least based on the larger scheme of things that the SE/SS political alliance along party lines remains largely unshaken. Forget the wanna-be "I'm from the SS" impostors here, we know which people are notorious for creating 20 accounts on Nairaland, just to claim they come from 1000 different ethnic groups (they are just useless, as much as they are inconsequential). No current Northern or yaribanza candidate will get more than 25% votes in the SS regions right now (maybe with the exception of Edo state of that has a considerable APC sympathy base), I dare any of them (I mean the Afonja idiots and their cronies) to name JUST one presidential candidate from the North or SW who is marketable in any of the SE/SS states, I'll be waiting. Bros leave matter for Matthias, we are strategizing on behind the scenes, and I can categorically and emphatically tell you that if power will be come to the South come 2023,it has to be an Igbo man. Whether that Igbo man is from the SE or SS is a topic for another day, but what does it really matter? It's either an Igbo man, a South Southerner with strong Igbo leanings and interest... or we will see to it that a Northerner remains in power come 2023- let heavens fall! Na we go all suffer am together. Since we're 5% and irrelevant, then we accept it, to hell with fairness and rotational principles, let's all roll our sleeve and fight in the mud together. And for the Afonja idiots, when has your region ever been politically relevant since the inception of real time POLITICS in Nigeria? You people funny die I swear . Afonja, you people have been in the hopeless doldrums of political opposition for years, aside from Buhari- which other former presidents did your "almighty" votes bring to power? Just because una manage get am right in 2015( no thanks to GEJ's fucck up and lack of political sagacity/tenacity), suddenly Afonja's have accorded themselves the undeserved title and honor of "political Maradona's" Lmaoooo GET THE FUCCK OUT HERE, get your history books out you ignorant degenerates-- the Igbos have ALWAYS been beating you politically with our votes before you managed to right your catalog of wrongs in just 2015. Let's see which SW candidate that will get any sympathy vote in the SE, SS, and the NC... your Tinubu and Osinbanjo have already been designated as failures/products of the scam APC government, and no core Northern states will vote for some "boy-boy" inexperienced Redeemed pastor, much less a Tinubu who is an expired or about to be political factor. Una eyes go clear in 2023, I badly want these to be SE vs SW battle... where we will meet at the polls and end the noise once and for all. Awon oniranu. 2 Likes 1 Share |

gidgiddy: Partnership and alliance is what produced the rule for rotational presidency between North and South. The rotation is not based on equity and fairness as you alluded to. If you review the accomplishments and failures since 1999 till date you will see this is evident in both PDP and APC, the two parties that have ruled the country. If it was simply equity and fairness, it should have made Atiku a President by now. Buhari naively believed fairness would get him presidency but realized lack of partnership and alliance is what stood in his way. What is standing in Ibo's way is partnership and alliance. If you continue to wait in line for equity and fairness you will be dissapointed. Moreover, the SS you are attaching to has also demanded its right to complete GEJ's 8yr rule and have thrown their hats in the 2023 battle. Behind you they are working hard negotiating and forming alliances, smartly and strategically....while you continue in your buffoonery of seeking an equity and fairness to nowhere. 12 Likes 1 Share |

If you don't vote for SW, you will vote for north or won't vote at all and either ways, the NORTH or SW becomes president and your wailing continues. Bros calm down, this is democracy. There are many reasons why people for vote for a presidential candidate in an election or vote against a candidate. In Nigeria, these include; 1) Tribal sentiments 2) Religious sentiments 3) Political party affiliations 4) Political opponents/Alternatives 5) Personality that can determine acceptability 6) Personal Gains (economic & political gains of the voters) 7) Experience Others In 2023, your reason for not voting let's say Osinbajo or Fashola will be tribal sentiments that a Yoruba candidate will prolong the chances of an Igbo becoming the president. This is a valid reason for YOU and many people who think like that. However, everyother person don't necessarily share this view, even in the SE/SS. Some people will vote for Osinbajo instead of voting for Atiku because he is a Christian, some will say they want a younger president while some will say they want to vote for the ruling party etc WeneWali: 1 Like |

There is no political party called 'North+ SE+SS' Political parties account for 70% of the factors needed to win the presidential election. If Tinubu or Osinbajo or Fashola wins APC ticket in 2023, the APC will defeat Atiku/PDP. WeneWali: 3 Likes |

Haven't said that, I love that last line, Quote "I badly want these (this) to be SE vs SW battle" In as much as I love such, NOTHING as such will NEVER happen as PDP (APC is a no-go area for Igbo candidacy) will never fill Igbo candidate, you are not popular n marketable in this current politics. 9 Likes |

gidgiddy: Did you miss the very important qualifying word "unbroken" in the post you quote. The Yorubas left power at the presidential level in 2007. That would be 16 year out of power by 2023. How do you want to compare that with SS that directly preceded PMB in 2015 wanting to replace him in 2023? Guy get some sense na. Why do you not see SS stakeholders and leaders insisting 2023 is for them alone as you Igbos are doing? 5 Likes 1 Share |

oyatz: If by ommision or commision, a yoruba man wins the APC ticket (which is unlikely), there will be massive shake up and many Northern leaders will decamp from APC to PDP. Making the party a glorified monoethnic yoruba party. You know these things. You yorubas love to deodorize issues so that it will smell nice to your nostrils The North will be given the ticket in PDP with solid backing from the SE and SS. As usual yoruba will fail at the polls like Awo failed against Shagari. The North will never abandon their own and vote for a 'kaffir or arne' like you yorubas, and the SE and SS that you enjoy mocking and insulting will give you a middle finger. |

Re: 2023: The SE/SS Should Work Against The SW, Even If It Means North Retaining Pow by Nobody: 1:10pm On May 17, 2020 |
ThatFairGuy: I don't even get Igbos. They cannot even face the biggest obstacles, i.e APC and PDP Presidential Primaries, and they are talking of facing off with Yorubas in the general election. If the APC and PDP both refuse to field an Igbo Presidential candidate, as is 100% sure, would this be something the Igbos would also blame on Yorubas? It is like the woman without a womb blaming her husband for not being able to have a baby. That is how unreasonable Igbos are. Would Igbos, if they are not cowards and slaves of the North, not be better served blackmailing the PDP for the Presidential ticket they deserve for 21 years plus loyal service to the Party instead of beefing Yorubas daily over their Presidential ambition? 8 Likes 1 Share |
