That's your perspective. 2weeks ago a friend hit my hands when I was about to enter the staff bus. My Redmi Note 8 fell face down! The screen guard broke in God knows how many direction. That could have been my screen bro. I just removed the tempered glass and put another NILLKIN glass.
Note: My phone has never fallen like that before. So anything can happen! Remember it's very hard to get a quality replacement screen. So why not save one's self from all the tears with just a tempered glass. Get a quality one like NILKIN. You won't notice the difference.

In summary bro; the screen can still crack even with the tempered glass but it helps too like in my case.

To be honest this is the gospel truth,it doesn't even feel like there is a glass on the phone as the touch sensitivity and clarity is like 99.99%.

no need to wonder sir. It's what gives us peace of mind. I've used a phone without screen guard, it kept falling without having any issues, and I was even bragging about how strong it was (just as you are right now)... but, the day it disappointed me ehn... minor fall, major crack.

Nilkin is a company name not a specification. Go to AliExpress and search Nilkin along with your device name

This exactly used to be during my Samsung S Series days the fall that cracked and humbled me was not quarter as close as what it have passed through and survived.

The truth the more it falls the more the glass weakens so when it have gotten to it is durability limit, a little inconvenience gives it away.

I just use the Tempered Glass and Case to prevent scratches... If the screen wants to break it will break, irrespective of the Tempered Glass, so I don't really believe In using TG to avoid cracks from falls... Beht at least the TG and cases can prevent all these small scratches on the main screen, and on the Body.. keep the phone fresh and new looking.., without any marks ✔️
